BSSC 2022 Recruitment Exam: Notification, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus

The Government of India’s Department of Personnel and Training established the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC). The SSC is in charge of recruiting Group B (Non-Gazetted) and Non-Technical Group C posts, as well as recruitment in the Railway & Industrial Establishment, Subordinate Offices, and the Ministries Department of the Government of India. Eligibility Criteria for BSSC Inter level Exam

Applicants must meet the required age and educational requirements to be eligible for the BSSC inter level exam.

  • Age limit for BSSC Inter Level Exam:

Female applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 40, and male candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 37 to apply for the BSSC inter level exam.

  • Educational Qualifications for BSSC Inter Level Exam:

The applicant must have passed the intermediate exam from any recognised Board to be eligible for the BSSC inter-level exam. Basic shorthand and typing skills are required for a clerk position.


How to apply for BSSC Inter level Mains Exam

  • To begin, go to the BSSC’s official website (@bss.bih.nic.in).
  • Then provide a valid phone number or email address to register.
  • Then, using your user id and password, log in.
  • Fill out the application form with all of the required information, and then choose the post that is most important to you, as well as the exam centres that are most important to you.
  • The application fee must be paid.
  • Keep up to date with the latest exam information.

The application fee for the General category is Rs. 750, while the fee for SC/ST Bihar residents is around Rs. 200, and the fee for all female Bihar residents is around Rs. 200.

Paper 2 of the BSSC Inter Level Exam Syllabus includes the following topics:

Part (A) General Studies-

(1) General Awareness-

Questions about the environment were posed to the applicant. This question will assess the student’s environmental awareness and observational skills in relation to current events in society. The focus of general awareness is on current events occurring around the world.

(II) Current Affairs-

This candidate’s knowledge will be assessed based on how well he understands daily events in society, such as which new scheme has been launched.

Admit Card of BSSC inter level Exam

  • The admit card will be available for download a few days before the exam date.
  • You must go to the BSSC’s official website (@bss.bih.nic.in) to do so.
  • Then go to the career tab and look for the tab where the BSSC admit card is mentioned.
  • Use your user ID and password to log in.
  • Then, on the link that says “download admit card,” click it.
  • Then you’ll be able to get your admit card.

Selection Procedure and Syllabus for BSSC inter level Exam

In the overall BSSC selection process, there are three main steps.

  1. BSSC 1st Inter Level Prelims Exam
  2. BSSC 1st Inter Level Mains Exam
  3. Exam Interview

The BSSC inter level Mains exams can only be taken after the Prelims Exam has been passed. After all of the events have taken place, the final merit list will be prepared.


BSSC inter level exam Cut off

  • The minimum qualifying marks for the general category are 40%.
  • The qualifying marks for OBC are 36.50 percent.
  • Applicants in the SC/ST category must score 32 percent to pass the exam.
  • To be eligible for the exam, females must score 32 percent.
  • The qualifying marks for PWD are 32%.
