There are three stages to the WBSSC recruitment exam. To be recruited, applicants must complete the Prelims, Mains, and Interview processes.
All candidates who want to take the WBSSC exam should take the Prelims screening test. Students are tested on their knowledge of Arithmetic, Reasoning, General Awareness, and English subjects in the Prelims test. Questions are either objective or multiple choice.
Mains Candidates are tested on their subject knowledge of Indian history, economics, culture, politics, and international affairs in the Mains test.
Applicants who pass the Mains are eligible to participate in the final round, which is the interview. The final list of selected applicants is published based on the candidates’ marks in the Mains and Interview Stages, and posts are assigned accordingly.
Applicants must be well-versed in the WBSSC exam curriculum in order to receive higher marks and be considered for their desired position. The West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) publishes the applicants’ exam results in an online format. Applicants should continue to check the official website for updates on their results. In order to log in, applicants must remember either their registration number or their application number. The WBSSC result is final, and no changes are permitted.

Applicants for the WBSSC exam must have completed their 12th grade or an equivalent course from a recognised institution or board. In addition, candidates must be at least 18 years old.
The WBSSC exam selection process varies depending on the position. The selection process for some positions has four stages, while the selection process for other exams has only three stages.
