IBPS RRB 2021 or Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Regional Rural Bank 2021 will be conducted in the month of August and September 2021. IBPS RRB 2021 is conducted each year by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for recruiting Officers who will be heading the various Regional Rural Banks (RRB) in India and Office Assistants who will be helping in multipurpose tasks.  This recruitment usually takes place at two levels viz. Group A Officers: Scale-I (Assistant Manager), Scale-II (Manager), Scale-III (Senior Manager), and Group B Office Assistants: Multipurpose Office Assistants.

The application forms for IBPS RRB 2021 are likely to be released from the month of June 2021 in online mode through the official website. IBPS RRB 2021 will be conducted in the month of August and September 2021. The exam will be conducted in two phases i.e. IBPS RRB 2021 Preliminary Exam and IBPS RRB 2021 Main Exam. The results for IBPS RRB 2021 Preliminary Exam will be declared in the month of September 2021, while the results for IBPS RRB 2021 Main Exam will be declared in the month of October 2021 through online mode.

IBPS RRB 2021 Overview

  • The applicants are required to clear the preliminary as well as the main exam in order to be selected as an office assistant.
  • The applicants need to clear the preliminary, main exam as well as the interview round for the Scale-I(Assistant Manager).
  • The provisional allotment would be restricted for the Scale I and Office Assistant, within the RRBs of the State.
  • Those applying for Scale II and III, are required to appear for the main exam as well as the interview round.
  • Applicants interested in applying for more than one exam can do the same by applying separately and paying the required fees.

IBPS RRB 2021 Application Form

The application forms for IBPS RRB 2021 are likely to be released in June 2021 by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The application form link will be made available on the official website only. Applicants must make sure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for IBPS RRB 2021 before considering the applications. The applicants will be eligible to apply for both officer post and office assistant (multipurpose). However, such applicants can apply for only one designation in the officer’s cadre.

Steps for filling the Application Form for IBPS PO:

  • The applicants must visit the official website i.e. ibps.in in order to get the application form link.
  • Here, the applicants need to enter some basic personal and educational details.
  • Upload the digitally scanned images of photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression, and handwritten declaration.
  • Finally, make the required payment online and don’t forget to take a print out of the application form and payment receipt for future reference. The payment can be initiated through Net Banking or Debit/Credit cards.

IBPS RRB 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are required to ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for IBPS RRB 2021 before filing the applications. The Eligibility Criteria for IBPS RRB 2021 are as follows:

For Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)– Above 21 years – Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.07.1980 and later than 30.06.1999 (both dates inclusive).

IBPS RRB 2021 Admit Card

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will release the admit card for IBPS RRB 2021. The admit cards for IBPS RRB 2021 will be made available on the official website. Admit cards will not be sent via post to any candidate. The admit card link will be made available 10 days prior to the examination. All the applicants who have successfully applied for the exam can obtain the admit card for IBPS RRB 2021 by following the given steps.

Steps for downloading the Admit Card for IBPS RRB 2021:

  • The applicant needs to visit the official website for downloading the admit card.
  • The applicants are required to click on the link “Download Online Preliminary call letter for RRB Office Assistant Posts” from the homepage.
  • All the applicants who have successfully applied for the exam along with a payment of registration fee will get an admit card for IBPS RRB 2021 by entering their Registration No/Roll No and Date of Birth/ Password.
  • The applicants are required to click on the “Submit” button.
  • The admit card for IBPS RRB 2021 will appear on-screen. The applicants must not forget to take a print out of the admit card for future reference.

NOTE: The applicants are informed that they must carry the Admit Card along with one valid ID card. The applicants who forget to bring the admit card would not be allowed to attend the examination.


IBPS RRB 2021 Exam Pattern

It is necessary for the applicants to get an overview for the IBPS RRB 2021 For the IBPS Assistant post, the applicant is required to clear the Preliminary Exam followed by the Main Exam. There will be no Interview Round for the IBPS Office Assistant. While, for the IBPS RRB Officer post, the applicant is required to clear the Preliminary Exam as well as the Main Exam followed by the Interview Round.

The applicants must have an idea about the Exam Syllabus so that they can prepare the important topics for the exam. The syllabus for IBPS RRB 2021 is given below:

IBPS RRB 2021 Preparation Tips

  • The applicant must prepare a time-table for covering the whole syllabus within time and strictly follow that.
  • The applicant should try to solve the “Aptitude Test” Section from different entrance level books.
  • Prepare the syllabus from different books covering the syllabus, available in the market.
  • The applicant must build a habit of reading daily newspapers/journals to score better in General Awareness.
  • The student must solve as many previous year papers, sample papers as possible on a daily basis.

IBPS RRB 2021 Results

The results for IBPS RRB 2021 will be declared in three phases – Preliminary result, main result, and Final result. IBPS RRB 2021 Preliminary Result will be released in September 2021, The result for IBPS RRB 2021 Main will be declared in October 2021 and the provisional merit list will be announced in January 2022. The results will be published on the official website. The applicants who clear all the rounds for the particular exam will get a call letter to join the organization.
