UPTET 2022: Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is a state-level exam and is popularly known as UPTET. UPTET 2022 Exam Result Has been released on 8 April 2022. This exam is conducted, once in a year to recruit candidates in the field of the teaching profession. After qualifying for the UPTET, the eligible candidates will receive various opportunities to secure the position of a teacher in State Government Schools as Primary Level and Upper Primary level teachers, etc.
The exam pattern of UPTET consists of two papers namely Paper 1 & Paper 2. Those candidates who have such qualification and want to be Primary teachers and teach the students of class 1-5 then, they have to qualify for Paper 1, and for those who have such qualification and want to become Upper Primary Level teachers and want to teach the students of class 6-8 then they must have to qualify for Paper 2. UPTET 2022 Application Form
The application form for UPTET will be filled in online mode on the official website of UPBEB i.e.updeled.gov.in. Here we have given a step-by-step procedure to fill the online application form.
Step 1 – Registration Process
- First of all, go to the official website of UPBEB i.e. updeled.gov.in.
- Fill in all the required necessary details such as name, personal details, educational qualifications, and Other required details.
- After filling in the details click on the Submit button to confirm the registration process.
- Very carefully, the candidates have to select the exam district where they want to appear for the exam of UPTET.
Step 2 – UPTET Application Fee Payment
- After the successful registration process, candidates have to pay the application fee.
- The application fee will be filled in online mode by using various payment methods such as Debit and Credit Cards of various banks, Net Banking, etc.

Step 3 – Filling Application Form
- After the successful payment of the UPTET application fee, enter the registration details such as Registration Number and Date of Birth and then start to fill the application form.
- Enter the details for your preferred exam centers and then complete the application form.
- Now in the last, Review the application form once and then submit it.
Step 4 – Upload Photo and Signature
- Upload all the necessary documents wherever needed such as a recent colored passport size photo and signature of the candidate.
- The documents should be scanned and must have in .png/ .jpg/ .jpeg formats.
- The size of the Photograph should be less than 20 Kb (width-3.5 cm and height – 4.5 cm)
- The size of the Signature should be less than 10 Kb. (width- 4.5 cm and height- 2.5 cm)

UPTET 2022 Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for both the papers are different from each other, so candidates are instructed to read the eligibility very carefully. Here we have provided some basic eligibility criteria that the candidates must have to meet.
Qualification for Primary Teachers
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least of 50% marks from a recognized university along with 2 years of Diploma (D.Ed) from the N.C.T.E/ Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree along with 2 years of B.T.C., C.T. (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) course.
OR,
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree along with the qualification in Special B.T.C. Training.
OR,
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree along with 2 years of BCT Urdu special training in Uttar Pradesh.
OR,
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree along with a course of Diploma in Teaching from Aligarh Muslim University (For Urdu Teacher) or Moallim-E-Urdu Degree before 11-08-1998
Qualification for Upper Primary Teachers
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree along with a course of B.T.C from a National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) approved institute.

- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least of 50% marks along with a course of B.Ed/ B.Ed Special Education from Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

UPTET 2022 Admit Card
The admit card of UPTET issued by UPBED will be available in online mode on the official website of UPTET. i.e. www.updeled.gov.in. Candidates who have successfully filled their form will be able to download the admit card.

The result of UPTET 2022 will be released on the official website. Candidates will be able to check their results by entering credentials such as Roll no. and password. Here we have provided a step-by-step procedure to download the CTET result.
How to Download?

UPTET 2022 Cut off
Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board will release the cut off percentage or marks on the basis of certain criteria defined by the UPBE Board.
The cut off marks will decide on the basis of some factors such as-
- No. of students appeared for the exam.
- Average marks scored by the candidates.
- The difficulty level of the Paper.
- Reservation policy and some other policy of UP Government.
The general cut off percentage that the candidate must have to meet is given as follows.

- Those candidates, who qualify for the UPTET, would be awarded the UPTET eligibility certificate. This eligibility certificate is valid for 5 years.
- Apart from this general cut off, the UPBE board will also release the district wise cut off separately for UPTET.
UPTET 2022 Selection Procedure
The eligible candidates will be awarded with UPTET Eligibility Certificate only on the basis of a written exam.
- The candidate who wants the eligibility certificate of UPTET up to the Primary level then he/she has to pass the UPTET primary level exam (i.e. has to clear Paper I).
- The candidate who wants the eligibility certificate of UPTET up to the Upper Primary level then he/she has to pass the UPTET upper primary level exam (i.e. has to clear Paper-II).
- The qualifying marks for both the papers are 60% (for each paper) for the general category and 55% for the reserved category candidates.
