CSIR NET also known as Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Undergraduate Grants Commission National Eligibility Test is a National-level exam and is popularly known as CSIR- UGC NET or simply CSIR NET. According to the revised pattern, the exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This exam is conducted to select candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointing candidates as a lecturer in universities/colleges.
The CSIR NET exam is conducted twice a year, once in the month of June and secondly in the month of December. The application form for the CSIR NET exam will be filled in online mode and the exam for the same will also be held in online mode i.e. Computer-Based test. The CSIR NET exam is conducted only for the science side students. The name of subjects for which the CSIR conducts the NET exam is as follows in the table.

Marking Scheme for Physical Sciences Paper:
The Answer key for Joint CSIR NET Exam will be released after one-two weeks of examination on the official website of CSIR i.e. csirnet.nta.nic.in.
