IIT Madras and Internshala collaborate to offer skill development

Internshala, a career-tech platform, and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) Pravartak Technologies Foundation have entered into an arrangement. Under the terms of the collaboration, both companies will provide co-branded technical skill development in subjects like MATLAB, advanced Excel, data science, machine learning, SQL for data analytics, business analytics, ethical hacking, and VLSI design.

Internshala’s skilling engine and training will provide the 6–8 week training programs. Under the terms of the arrangement, Internshala will also help students from IITM Pravartak and IIT Madras get internships. The learners will receive a co-branded certificate from IITM Paavartak and Internshala Trainings upon completion of the program.

“As an alumnus of the esteemed IIT-Madras, I am truly elated that Internshala and IITM Pravartak have joined hands to offer skilling opportunities to Indian youth,” stated Sarvesh Agrawal, CEO of Internshala. It is a privilege for Internshala to provide the much-needed internship and job placement support to IIT-M students.

He continued, “Skilling has become essential in the modern era, and Internshala has been working hard to bring well-designed training programs with current content and in-demand skills.”
