The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam consists of 190 questions that must be answered in 160 minutes.

  • The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will consist of 190 questions and will take 160 minutes to complete.
  • The IBPS Clerk Exam for Mains will be divided into four sections, each with its own sectional timings.
  • Previously, the Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Sections were separated. However, according to a recent IBPS update, both of these sections have been combined into a single 50-mark section.

If you are starting from scratch, you should be able to complete the IBPS Clerk syllabus in 3 to 4 months if you follow a proper study plan. However, depending on one’s strengths and weaknesses, this may vary from person to person.

The prelims exam for IBPS Clerk is worth 100 marks. The sections of Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude are each worth 35 marks, while the English Language section is worth 30 marks. Each section has a 20-minute time limit for answering questions.

The IBPS PO and Clerk syllabus contain the same subjects, but the exam pattern differs slightly. In addition, the IBPS PO mains exam includes a descriptive English test, but the clerical cadre exam does not.
