IES Cutoff 2022: The Union Public Service Commission releases IES Cut Off on its official website for various branches such as Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical
Cut off marks are the minimum marks required to pass an exam, and they help you know if you’ve advanced to the next round. They also help the candidate estimate whether he or she is qualified for further rounds. Every year, the UPSC releases cutoff marks for all stages of the exam on its official website.
The UPSC IES exam is divided into three stages, with cutoffs for each stage published separately on the UPSC website in PDF format.

The IES Mains Admit Card is only given to candidates who meet the minimum cutoffs in the Prelims exam. Getting through the Mains stage of the exam and into the Interview stage.

Ques. What are the IES Prelims exam minimum qualifying marks for the General Category?
Ans. The minimum qualifying marks for General category candidates in the IES Preliminary are 15%. It’s important to remember that qualifying marks are not the same as cutoff marks.
