In this section, we will discuss the CGPSC Exam Pattern for each stage of the examination. The following is the CGPSC State Service Exam paper pattern:
Stage I: Preliminary exam: It is divided into two sections, each with the multiple-choice type of questions.
Paper I is composed of GS questions and is worth 200 marks.
Paper-II comprises aptitude questions worth 200 marks and must be completed in two hours.
An applicant must pass both papers to be considered qualified.
Stage II: Mains exam: It consists of 7 compulsory papers.

Stage III: Personality Test: The CGPSC State services exam would now have reached its conclusion. Personality, mental abilities, alertness, and clarity of thought will be used to evaluate candidates. The interview will be graded on a scale of 150 marks.

Paper I will consist of two parts,
Part I consists of static subjects (history, geography, polity, etc.) and current affairs.
Part II consists of general knowledge about the state of Chhattisgarh.
