About 41 chair professorships have been established at Woxsen University to recognise the achievements of renowned education authorities. It is an acknowledgement of their contributions to research, instruction, and academic progress.

According to a statement from Woxsen University, it is one of the greatest honours given in the academic world. Faculty members who have shown a sustained high degree of intellectual performance in their particular field of study are eligible for it. In order to enable cooperation with reputable universities around the world for collaborative research programmes, the university created chair professorships.

The chairholders were chosen, according to Woxsen University, based on their primary areas of expertise and contributions. The institution added that it anticipates the holder to keep offering intellectual perspectives to their field, profession, and society at large. Woxsen University added that the name will honour the notable individuals from around the world for whom it is named while also raising the standard of educational opportunities for both students and teachers.
