Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday announced an age relaxation of two years for candidates in the upcoming competitive examinations for jobs. He said various recruitment examinations could not be conducted for the past two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Gehlot’s tweet, candidates would receive a two-year age relaxation in upcoming competitive examinations because the corona pandemic made it impossible to perform job-related competitive examinations on schedule for two years.

The state government has hired roughly 1.25 lakh employees during its current term, according to Gehlot, who also stated earlier this month that another 1 lakh employees are in the works. The budget for 2022–2023 included an announcement of another one lakh employment. To ensure that individuals receive jobs on schedule, he had stated that recruiting exams would be held.
