The ICSI CSEET 2023 will be a two-hour long test, with 140 questions divided into four sections. Aspiring candidates for the exam must get the Safe Exam Browser, SEBLite, installed and running on their computers prior to taking the exam.

The ICSI is administering the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2023 exam tomorrow, January 07, 2023. Test-takers can take the CSEET 2023 January exam remotely using their own computer at home or a place of their convenience. In addition to the ICSI admit card, individuals must have a valid form of identification.

CSEET January 2023 exam instructions

  • For appearing in CSEET 2023 January session remote proctored mode candidates must download safe exam browser SEBLite on their desktop or laptop.
  • Before appearing for the exam candidates must possess a valid CSEET 2023 admit card and a valid ID card such as a passport, driving licence, PAN card, UID Aadhaar card, voter card, etc.
  • Candidates must log in on the portal 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination. 15 minutes after the commencement of the examination no applicant will be permitted to appear for the exam and no candidate will be allowed to finish the exam until the expiry of 90 minutes from the starting of the test.
  • Candidates must ensure that there is no book, study material, handwritten or printed notes, mobile phone, pager, digital diary, scientific or programmable calculator, bluetooth, laptop, palmtop, smart watch, health band or any other electronic device or gadget with them while giving the test.
  • No break shall be permitted once the exam starts and no one will be allowed to leave until the submission.
  • To clear the CSEET 2023 exam candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper. No negative marking will be done for any wrong answers.

Technical requirements for candidates appearing in CSEET 2023

For appearing in the remote proctored CSEET exam 2023, candidates must ensure that the following technical requirements are available

  • Browser: Google Chrome version 8.0 and above
  • Video/audio: Webcam and a good quality mic is required.
  • Operating system – Windows 10 or 11 (Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions) or Windows 8/8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit) or Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit).
  • RAM and processor: 4 GB+ RAM, i3 5th generation 2.2 Ghz or equivalent/higher
  • Recommended internet speed per user: Dedicated internet and internet bandwidth of minimum 2 mbps (4G/ Wi-Fi) or above + upload speed.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) held two practice tests for CSEET 2023 to enable applicants to become familiar with the remote proctoring system, testing format, and complexity of the assessment. Results of the CSEET 2023 will be declared approximately 10 days after the exam is completed.
