The National Board of Examinations has begun the enrollment process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS 2023), and applicants can now send in their NEET MDS 2023 application through the official website nbe.edu.in until January 30th, 2023. Furthermore, candidates who successfully pay the fee will be allowed to edit their application forms from February 2nd to 5th, 2023.

The NEET MDS 2023 admit card will be made available to applicants on February 22, 2023. Those who finish the internship by March 31 will be allowed to take the exam. Since the MBBS internship cutoff date has been announced, pupils have been asking for an extension to the last date. The NEET MDS test is scheduled for March 1.

NEET MDS 2023: Eligibility

The National Board of Examinations revealed the requirements for enrolling in the MDS program at medical schools in India as well as the NEET MDS 2023 exam date.

Candidates must have a recognised degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council.
Must have undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an recognised dental college.
Candidates who after passing the final qualifying examination is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotatory internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by March 31, 2023, will be eligible.
No condonation of internship of 12 months period shall be accepted except the students of the batch admitted during the academic session 2007-08 and have completed four and a half year BDS course along with six months compulsory rotating internship.
And, the students admitted during the academic session 2006-07 at Rajah Muthiah Dental College, Annamalai University who have completed 5 years BDS course without internship are also exempted.

The NEET MDS information bulletin stated that requests from candidates who have finished their internship after March 31, 2023 or have qualifications not accepted by the Dentists Act will be immediately denied.
