The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has confirmed that the deadline for MBBS internships for NEET PG 2023 has been extended to June 30th

The NBE has extended the deadline for completing MBBS internships for the NEET PG 2023 exam to June 30, 2023. The previous cutoff date left over half of the interns unable to take part in the NEET PG 2023 exams.

Aspirants taking the NEET PG assessment have to finish a compulsory one-year internship to be qualified for the exams. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) publicized an update on the NEET PG 2023 eligibility, stating that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Govt. of India, has altered the cut-off date for the completion of the internship for the NEET-PG 2023 to the 30th of June, 2023.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced that the conditions and regulations given in the NEET PG 2022 Information Bulletin will remain the same. The board will be making the necessary alterations to the NEET PG 2023 application form in the near future. The NEET PG 2023 exam is scheduled for March 5, 2023 and will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode at various locations in India. The deadline for submitting the NEET PG 2023 application form is 11:55 PM on January 27, 2023 and can be completed at the websites natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in.

While there are some who are pleased with the announcement, many students are still calling on the authorities to delay NEET PG 2023. Some have labeled the decision not to postpone the exam as “illogical and ridiculous” while others have deemed it to be “very poor governance” and “neglect of students’ mental health.”
