Today, January 24, the National Testing Agency (NTA) concluded the first shift of JEE Main 2023 for BTech and BE. This session was conducted for three hours, starting from 9 AM to 12 noon. Those who attended the JEE Main 2023 paper today found mathematics to be lengthy and hard, while the physics and chemistry sections were judged as moderate to simple.

  • Physics – Physics section had formula-based questions
  • Chemistry – Physical organic chemistry had more numerical based questions.

According to students, there was one question from reasoning and four questions from vector 3D.

Saurabh Kumar, the Chief Academics Officer of Vidyamandir Classes, suggested that the JEE Main 2023 paper was similar to the one from the year before, with a comparable difficulty level. He noted that the Physics part was comprised of formulas while Chemistry had questions from both organic and inorganic sources. He further explained that Mathematics was more challenging and included more questions on thermodynamics, semiconductor, and kinematics.

The following JEE Mains 2023 session will start at 3 pm and end at 6 pm. The NTA will be releasing the JEE Main 2023 admit card on the website shortly. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is organizing the first examination of JEE Main 2023 on January 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st and February 1st.
