Today, on January 21, 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for the January Session Examination of JEE Main 2023. The Joint Entrance Examination is planned to commence on January 24th. Candidates who have registered for JEE Main can access and get their hall ticket from the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main Session 1 is scheduled to take place between January 24th and February 1st, 2023. The exam will be administered via Computer Based Test (CBT) format in two separate shifts, with the first beginning at 9:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM and the second running from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Once the admission ticket has been released, those individuals who have applied for the test can take the following steps to view and obtain the JEE Main Admit Card 2023.

How to download JEE Main January Session Hall Ticket 2023?

Step 1. Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the link for JEE Main Admit Card 2023
Step 3. Now, login using the application number and password
Step 4. Your admit card will open on the screen
Step 5. Download and take a printout of the Main hall ticket for future reference

It is essential for test takers to bring a copy of their JEE admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam. Entry will be denied to all those who fail to present these documents.

JEE Main Exam Pattern 2023

The Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) comprises two papers.

Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is an examination given for entrance into undergraduate engineering programs at NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and other institutions/universities funded/acknowledged by the relevant state governments. It consists of 90 points split between 3 topics: Physics (30 points), Maths (30 points), and Chemistry (30 points).

Paper 2 (B.Arch/ B. Planning) is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country. It will be of 82 and 105 marks respectively.

Documents required on the date of examination

(i) Print a copy of JEE Hall Ticket along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website.
(ii) One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the online application form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at centre during the examination.
(iii) Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid, and non-expired) – School Identity Card/ PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/E-Aadhaar with photograph/ Ration Card with photograph/ Class 12 Board Admit Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.
(iv) PwD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category OR PwD Certificate regarding physical limitation in an examination to write as per Annexure given in Information Bulletin, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.
(v) A simple transparent BallPoint Pen.

JEE Main 2023 Syllabus – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

JEE Main 2022 Session-I

NTA was responsible for conducting the JEE Main–2022 Session-I, which was held between June 24 and 30, 2022. The total number of registered applicants were 8,72,432. Data showed that 14 test takers achieved the perfect 100 NTA Score in the first session. Among the top five scorers, three were from Telangana, one from Haryana and another from Andhra Pradesh. Jasti Yashwanth V V S from Telangana secured the highest marks with Sarthak Maheshwari from Haryana coming in second.
