The National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2022 counselling has been postponed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) in order to add more seats for the candidates’ advantage. The preliminary NEET PG 2022 counselling schedule is being rescheduled by MCC. Beginning on September 1, NEET PG counselling for 2022 was supposed to start on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
“The Candidates of NEET-PG, 2022 are advised that the NEET PG Counseling, 2022 was planned to commence from 01/09/2022,” the most recent notification from MCC states. The National Medical Commission (NMC), however, is in the process of releasing New LoPs for the current academic year, and the process will be finished by September 15, 2022. Therefore, the NEET PG Counseling, 2022, which was planned to begin on September 1, 2022, has been rescheduled by the Competent Authority in order to include more seats for the benefit of the candidates. MCC recommended applicants regularly check the official website for updates on the NEET PG 2022 counselling schedule.
In a plea brought by doctors protesting the National Board of Examinations (NBE) decision to withhold the NEET PG 2022 answer key and question paper, the Supreme Court on August 9 declined to halt the NEET PG 2022 counselling, citing widespread ramifications. The petitioners claimed that the candidates’ NEET 2022 scores varied. There will be seats available for 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), 922 Postgraduate Diploma, 1,338 DNB CET, and 1,326 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) students based on NEET PG MDS 2022 counselling.
