McKinsey and Company were the leading recruiter at the IIM Ahmedabad PGP Placements for 2023, offering 18 positions in the first cluster.

Today, February 15, 2023, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) carried out their initial installment of the final placement process for their Post Graduate Programme in Management class of 2023. The participating organizations in this group included five divisions: investment banking and markets, management consulting, niche consulting, cards and financial advisory and private equity, venture capital and asset management.

IIM Ahmedabad reported that there was a great number of employers participating in the placement process, with close to 50 firms taking part. McKinsey & Company landed the most offers with 18, while Boston Consulting Group was the runner up. Other major consulting companies that were part of the process included Bain & Company, Kearney, Oliver Wyman, Strategy& Middle East, Monitor Deloitte, and Praxis Global. The entire recruitment process was conducted through a hybrid system, allowing companies to participate in the process either virtually or physically.

Notable employers in Investment Banking and Markets included Goldman Sachs, Avendus Capital, Arpwood Capital, Standard Chartered, HSBC, O3 Capital, and Credit Suisse. A91 Partners, Premji Invest, Pinpoint, Morgan Stanley (Real Estate), and American Express sent out the most job offers in the areas of cards and financial consulting, while Alliance, Arthur D Little, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and KPMG were also prominent recruiters.

Groups 2 and 3 of the IIM Ahmedabad recruiting drive will occur on February 17th and 20th, 2023 respectively.
