On Monday, none of the 275 testing locations around the nation reported any concerns with the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG’s fifth day. However, a landslide in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, prevented all but three applicants from getting to the two exam locations there. There were 154 candidates at one center, whereas 36 were scheduled to show up for the exam there.

“64,472 registered applicants took the test at 275 locations across the nation. Both the morning and evening sessions of the exam went smoothly without a hitch in every centre “Jagadesh Kumar, the UGC chairman, stated. “However, only 3 participants were able to arrive at the test locations in Itanagar’s two centres, Rajiv Gandhi University and NIT, where 36 and 154 candidates, respectively, were scheduled to take the exam because of a very strong landslide. Candidates who were unable to make it to these two centres will have their exams from August 24 through August 28, 2022 “Added he.

Glitches in the second round of the CUET-Undergraduate, which started on Thursday, caused issues for students who were turned back from the exam centres. The exam’s first shift was cancelled on Thursday in a number of locations across 17 states, while the second shift was cancelled at all 489 locations. At 50 locations, the exam was cancelled on Friday. The agency postponed the CUET-UG for the day at 53 centres on Friday night in anticipation of a situation such to the one that occurred on Saturday.
