CAT 2022: Mistakes to avoid while filling CAT exam form

  • Don’t apply using a mobile device. Although CAT 2022 registration can be completed using a mobile device, there is a considerable likelihood of making mistakes when filling out the form on a phone.
  • Use only the browser and its version as directed by the instructions.
  • To create a login, carefully fill out the CAT registration form; modifications made afterwards cannot be made. Use a valid email address and mobile number, and make sure they are active for at least a year after the MBA admissions process is finished.
  • Avoid prefixing mobile numbers with “0” or “+,” as these will prevent SMS messages from being sent to those numbers.
  • If you select India as your nation, do not provide anything other than a unique 10-digit mobile number that you will use throughout the admissions process.
  • Use the name and DOB that are listed on the 10th-grade mark sheet. The papers should be in JPEG format and no more than 80KB each.
  • Upload a scanned copy of your signature that is 80 mm x 35 mm in size.
  • Use a current photo with a white backdrop, and make several copies of it because the identical photo must be placed on the admit card on the day of the exam. The photo should have the following dimensions: 1200 pixels by 1200 pixels.
  • The use of part-time or internship employment should be avoided since it will count as having no experience.
  • Never submit without reviewing the information first.
  • Don’t forget to enter the captcha and click the agree box.
  • Documents in categories should be scanned as pdfs.

The CAT 2022 exam will last for two hours, with questions coming from three sections: Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) (QA). Each section has a forty-minute time limit. The PGP in management at IIMs and other prestigious B-schools, like FMS (DU), ISB, DMS (IIT D), SRM University, Chennai, IIT Mumbai, SPJIMR, GIM Goa, Great Lakes, FORE, IMT Ghaziabad, TAPMI, MICA, etc., requires a CAT score.
