CTET determines a candidate’s eligibility for appointment as a teacher in grades 1 through 8. The exam will be computer-based this year and will take place between December 16 and January 13. The CTET will be divided into two parts: paper 1 will be for those who want to teach grades 1 to 5, and paper 2 will be for those who want to teach grades 6 to 8. A person who wants to be a teacher at both levels must take both exams.

Questions from child development and pedagogy, language 1, language 2, mathematics, and environmental studies would be included in Paper 1. Questions from Child Development & Pedagogy, language 1, language 2, mathematics and science, or social studies or social science will be included in Paper 2.
