According to results released by the CBSE on Friday, 94.40 percent of students passed the Class 10 exam, with girls topping boys by a margin of 1.41 percent.

A tabulation policy was used to declare the results in 2020 and 2021 in light of the coronavirus pandemic. This year, there were two terms for the exams. The country has been divided into 16 areas by the CBSE, with Delhi having two—Delhi East and Delhi West. With pass rates of 86.96% and 85.94%, respectively, Delhi East and Delhi West were rated 14th and 15th out of the 16 CBSE areas, below Noida, which held the ninth position and had a pass percentage of 96.08%.

Trivandrum (99.68%), Bengaluru (99.22%), and Chennai (99.22%) are the top three regions (98.97 per cent). Girls outperformed boys in the Delhi East and Delhi West regions. In Delhi East, 89.36% of the female students passed compared to 84.82 % of the male students, and in Delhi West, 87.57 % of the female students passed compared to 84.52 % of the male students. 26,537 students in Delhi East received compartment placements for their exams, compared to 1,9133 in the west. The CBSE has never released the results for classes 10 and 12 on the same day before.
