On Sunday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma unveiled over 1,000 model Anganwadi centres that have been built throughout the state, promising that 15,000 of them would be built by 2026. At the major event, which was held on the playground of the RB Higher Secondary School in the Palasbari Assembly seat, Sarma opened a centre and stated that these model Anganwadi centres will fulfil the expectations and aspirations of parents who live in the state’s most distant areas.

“The physical and mental underpinnings of a kid are established in anganwadis. It helps the child become ready for their journey toward higher education “added the chief minister. He stated that it is crucial to have the right infrastructure in place in order to move the state’s Anganwadi system forward.
