In the MBA and MCA categories of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2022, Shradharabinda Samantray and Ishant Kumar Nayak, respectively, secured the top spots. Similar to Arup Kumar, Sachin Nayak took first place in M Pharm, Sanjeev Pradhan in MTech (Civil Engineering), Pankaj Kumar and Ranjan Mohapatra in MTech (Electronics), while Arup Kumar was the best student in B Pharm (Mechanical).

P R Ghadai, the minister in charge of Odisha’s department of technical education and skill development, announced the OJEE 2022 results and distributed the results booklet. According to the minister, OJEE was held this year from July 4 to July 8 while taking all necessary safety precautions in accordance with applicable COVID rules. For the academic year 2022–2023, the entrance exam was held for a number of technical and professional courses, including B Pharm, LE-Tech (Dip), LE-Tech (BSc), B CAT (2 streams), MBA, MCA, International MBA, LE-Pharm, M Pharm, M Arch, M Plan, and M Tech (11 specialisations) offered at various government and private institutes and universities throughout the state.

For all of the courses, the entrance exam was given as a computer-based test (CBT). There are now exam centres in each of the state’s 30 districts, as well as 61 test centres spread among the state’s 30 cities and four centres in three cities outside of Odisha: Kolkata, Ranchi, and Patna.

A total of 57,898 individuals enrolled for the exam this year, and 47,761 of those candidates took the test (82.5%). According to their performance in the test, a total of 47,729 candidates have been assigned ranks in their appropriate courses, the minister said, adding that the candidates can get their rank cards from the OJEE website (www.ojee.nic.in). According to their rank and other eligibility requirements, all applicants who have been given rankings are eligible to participate in OJEE counselling for admission to various technical and professional courses at government and private colleges and institutes in Odisha. According to a reliable source, OJEE counselling registration and 2022 choice filling on the official website will start on August 10.
