The syllabus of the UPPCL JE exam for Civil and Electrical branches consist of four sections:
Diploma Level Engineering, the syllabus of this section will be different for both the branches however the syllabus of all three rest sections will be the same for both branches.
The allotted exam center can not be changed under any circumstances. The exam center allotment will be based on the choice chosen by candidates at the time of filling the application form. UPPCL conducts the UPPCL JE exam in 8 cities namely:
The admit card will be released by UPPCL before few days of examination. Every candidate will able to access the admit card in online mode. No hard copy of it will be sent to them. So they have to download the admit card by themself via online mode only. They have to download the admit card and then must have to procedure a hard copy of the same to get an entry in the exam hall and to check the result as well. Candidates are advised to keep their admit cards safe for future references.
The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited will release the result on its official website. Candidates can access the result by visiting the website. They have to use their credentials for login to access their result. The result will be available in PDF form. After the declaration of the official result, the officials of UPPCL will release the merit list for the UPPCL JE exam. The merit list will have the name of those candidates who have scored well in the online test. This merit list will also be available in PDF format on the official website of UPPCL. There will be a total of 200 questions in the exam of UPPCL 2024.
Yes, for an incorrect answer, 1/4th marks will be deducted.
The age of the candidate should be between 18- 40 years however a relaxation will also be given for reserve category candidates as per the norm of UP government.
According to the past year’s papers trends, the paper will carry 200 marks in total. 1 mark will be given for every correct answer while 0.25 mark will be deducted as a penalty for giving an incorrect answer.
