
Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) conducts a National Entrance Test (NET) exam known as TISSNET. TATA Institute of Social Science has announced TISS National Eligibility Test result. TISSNET 2021 is a 1 hour and 40 minutes paper. The exam is conducted for all Masters programmes offered in TISS campuses at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, MHAT Calicut and G-SET Ranchi. The exam was organized in 39 centres, across India. To secure a seat in the Institute, the candidates first have to appear for the written examination.
TISS does not offer an MBA programme. Instead, it offers MA in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations (HRM & LR) programme at its Mumbai campus. It also offers various other Masters degrees. TISSNET Application Form 2021
All the interested candidates can get the application form for TISSNET 2021 from the official website. Candidates must apply for TISSNET after they have checked that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for their concerned course. Candidates are provided an option to submit the application form for any of the programs offered by TISSNET in any two of the campuses of TISSNET. All the applicants are advised to pay the required amount of the application fee along with the form.
All eligible applicants can obtain the TISSNET 2021 application form from the official website. Applicants must apply to TISSNET after verifying that they meet the eligibility requirements for their course in question. Applicants are given the option of submitting a registration form for any of the courses offered by TISSNET on either of the two TISSNET campuses. All candidates are expected to pay, along with the form, the required amount of the registration fees.
- The application process for TISSNET 2021 will be made available from the third week of October 2020 onwards.
- Students will be called to submit the application form by means of the e-application process via the online mode.
- Applicants from a remote location who do not have an Internet or telecommunications facility will be able to obtain a printed copy of the registration form from the institute.
- The last date for the submission of the application form will be December 2020.
- Applicants will only be able to apply for a total of 3 programs during registration for any two of the TISS & Other Campuses.

TISSNET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must review the TISSNET 2021 eligibility criteria before completing the application form for enrollment to their desired programs. The following are few requirements for eligibility criteria for TISSNET 2021 that an applicant must satisfy in order to qualify to apply for admissions.
- Qualification: The applicant should have bachelor’s or equivalent degree of a minimum of 3 or 4 years duration.
- Age limit: There is no provision of age limit to apply for TISSNET 2021.
- For LL.M: The applicants should have a qualified LL.B degree with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized board or university.
- Appearing: The applicants appearing in their final year of graduation degree can also apply for TISSNET 2021.
Note: Applicants applying for a Master of Arts (Development, Change and Leadership of Organizations) should have at least 2 years of work experience in any field (after graduation).

TISSNET Exam Pattern 2021
TISSNET 2021 will be heldin online (computer-based) mode. Questions will be asked from General Awareness, Mathematical and Logical Reasoning and English Proficiency. Candidates have to answer 100 multiple choice questions in a time span of 100 minutes, which means that candidates can roughly give one minute to each question. Due to the present division of weightage, candidates must maintain maximum efficiency while answering questions and not get stuck on the general knowledge section.

Use of Scribe- An option will be given to applicants with visual impairment to have an SCRIBE to help them complete the test. The SCRIBE must be an undergraduate student and, at the time of the test, must bring a valid ID document. A compensatory extra time of 20 minutes per hour will be given to people with disabilities who have a disability of 40 percent or more.

TISSNET 2021 Admit Card
The TISSNET 2021 admit Card will be published in the third week of December 2020. By using their login credentials, registered applicants who have successfully filed the registration form can access the TISS NET admit card. The TISSNET 2021 admit Card will only be accessible on the official TISS website. On the day of the examination, applicants must carry an accurate photo ID and TISSNET 2021 admit card together with them. TISSNET 2021 Result
TISS will publish the TISSNET results on its official site. The TISSNET 2021 results will be tentatively declared in February 2021. On the official website, students can check the TISSNET results. By entering your login ID and password, students can download their TISSNET 2021 results from the official site. The TISSNET scorecards comprise of the test-takers’ overall marks and qualifying status. TISSNET 2021 Cut-off
The TISSNET 2021 cut-off is the minimum qualification score that applicants should score in order to be invited to the pre-interview test and personal interview. The cut off of TISSNET 2021 will be revealed along with the scorecard release. The General / OBC cutoff for TISSNET 2021 is 45 percent, while the SC / ST category is 35 percent. For different MA programs, the TISSNET cut off score may differ. Applicants who meet the criteria for the TISSNET 2021 cut-off score will be invited to the next admission round. TISSNET Selection Procedure 2021
The TISSNET 2021 selection procedure consists mainly of three stages: the entrance test, the pre-interview test and the personal interview. For the pre-interview test and personal interview, shortlisted applicants must appear, with the exception of MA (HRM LR) or MA (ODCL) programs. Applicants for these programs must take part in the TISS MAT exam after the TISSNET exam. The TISSNET 2021 PIT / PI application form will be available on TISS’s official website. From the first week of March to the first week of April 2021, the pre-interview test will commence. TISSNET 2021 ‘s Pre Interview Test will be accompanied by a Personal Interview.
TISSNET 2021 – Pre Interview Test
The TISSNET 2021 pre-interview test will be held on different campuses. The 2021 pre-interview test of TISSNET consists primarily of two parts, essay writing and short case letters. Only those applicants who have qualified for the TISSNET 2021 entrance test and filled out the TISSNET PIT / PI application form before the scheduled timeline will be permitted to show up on the pre-interview test. The first round of TISSNET Pre Interview will take place at TISS Mumbai, while the second round will take place at the respective campuses in Hyderabad, Guwahati and Mumbai. Applicants shortlisted after the TISSNET 2020 Pre Interview Test/ Group Discussion need to fill out an online application. Applicants belonging to the category SC/ ST are qualified for Govt. of India’s Post Matric Scholarship programme.
TISSNET 2021 Personal Interview
The TISSNET 2021 Personal Interview will take place at various TISS campuses. After the pre interview test, the personal interview round will be performed. Applicants will be asked questions concerning to the applicable programmes during the TISSNET 2021 personal interview round. The officials will check the individuals’ basic knowledge of the programme in question and their familiarity with the subject. The final round of enrollment is the TISSNET Interview. TISSNET 2020 interview for applicants for programs offered at the campuses of Mumbai, Tuljapur, MGAHD Nagaland and Banyan Chennai is conducted at the campuses of Mumbai, while the campuses of Hyderabad and Guwahati are held at the respective campuses.

TISSNET 2021 – Preparation of Waiting List
- TISSNET 2021’s waiting list will be published in online mode in the second week of May.
- Following the first merit list for vacant seat admissions, the TISSNET 2021 waiting list will be released.
- Applicants who are assigned seats in their second preference program will only be retained on the first preference waiting list, and applicants who are assigned seats in their third preference program will be retained on their first and second preference waiting lists.
- Applicants who have been offered a seat in their first preference program can not be on the waiting lists for any other program referred to in their list of preferences.
- Those applicants who are assigned a seat in a program that was their last preference will be retained in the waiting list of a higher order of preference until the seats are filled in that program.
- If, at the time of activation of the waiting list, an applicant who has already been admitted to a program as per the first merit list is subsequently offered a higher preference, the applicant is transferred to the higher preference program and informed of the same.
- In the event that an applicant qualifies for two programs at the same time, the higher preference prevails when the waiting list is published. Admission is only offered by the admitting institute to the higher preference.

What is Pre-admission Medical check-up?
All the provisionally selected candidates have to undergo for the Medical check-up which will be conducted by the Medical Officers of the Institute after verification of original documents on the same Day.
I belong to the SC/ST Category, which Income Document do I need to Upload?
Unemployed SC/ ST and OBC(NC) candidates whose yearly parent income from all sources is below 2.5 lakhs and 1 lakh, respectively, must pay Application Fee INR 250/- + additional bank fees for selected program fees.
The candidate is asked to submit the Income Certificate issued by the competent authority, such as Tahsildar, Naib Tahsildar, Block Development Officer or District Magistrate / Collector, in order to claim this.
Can I apply for multiple courses?
Yes, you may apply for multiple programmes and pay for those programmes in one online form and should not fill more than one form.
How will be the seats allotted post final merit list?
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of merit and the preferences indicated by the candidates at the time of filling up the online application form (Kindly Indicate your preferences carefully as it has implications for the merit list).
Can I change the date of my PIT/ PI?
A change in the PIT and PI dates may be considered if the date of the TISS PIT and PI conflicts with the date of the entry test of another institution or with the date of the candidate’s final year examination. However, documentary evidence for this must be produced by the applicant. Please note that the revised PIT and PI dates will only be changed within the time period announced by TISS.
Where will the PIT/ PI rounds be held?
TISSNET will be held across the country in 40 different cities. The Pre-Interview Test (PIT) and Personal Interview (PI) will be performed on the Mumbai Campus for programs offered in Mumbai, Tuljapur, BANYAN and Chennai. The PIT / PI will be conducted at the respective campuses for the programmes offered at Hyderabad and Guwahati. Applicants who apply for programs at more than one campus will have to travel for PIT / PI to these locations. All others will carry the travel, lodging, and boarding costs for attending the NET, as well as PIT / PI, except for the eligible candidates from the SC / ST categories.
