SSC GD Constable which is known as Staff Selection Commission General Duty Constable. The exam of SSC GD Constable is conducted by SSC. SSC GD 2024 Application Form

The application form for SSC GD 2024 will be available very soon and it will be filled in online mode only. The application form will be filled in two stages: Registration Process and Application Process. Candidates must read the following procedure to fill the application form.

Step 1: Registration Process

The candidates who are applying for the first time for the SSC exam then have to first register themselves on the website of SSC. Those who have already filled the form for SSC exams, need not have to register themself. They will use their old registration number.

  • First, go to the official website of SSC i.e. https://ssc.nic.in/, and then click on the ‘Registration’  button appearing on the home page.
  • Now open the registration form and enter all the basic required details such as Candidate’s Name, DoB, and Contact No. and Mail Id.
  • It is instructed that fill all the details as given in the Matriculation certificate.
  • Now fill your Identity card no. such as Aadhar No./ Pan Card no., etc.
  • Now fill the Class 10th educational details such as Roll no., Passing year, Obtained marks.
  • Enter other details such as Gender, qualification details.
  • Now enter Mobile no. and email ID and confirm all the information by entering them again.
  • Now click on the ‘Next’ button, to proceed with the further process.
  • Fill in all the other required areas such as Nationality, Permanent, and temporary address, Identification Mark, and Category.
  • Now upload the scanned copy of the recent passport size photo, signature, and thumb impression.
  • After completing the next step, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile no..
  • Now enter the OTP to confirm the registration process.

NOTE :

  1. After submission of the registration form, if the registration will not be completed within 7 days, then the existing data of the candidates will be erased permanently.
  2. Candidates can change some detail filled in the registration form once the registration process completed.

Step 2: Application Form Filling Process

  • To start this process, candidates first have to log in with their credentials such as Registration No./ Id and password provided at the time of registration.
  • Now go to the ‘Latest Notification Tab’ and click on the ‘Apply’ link for the recruitment process of SSC GD constable 2024.
  • Some auto-filled information of yours will be displayed on the page when you open to applying. It should be noted that this information can not be edited further.
  • Now candidates have to give three preferences for the Exam Center of their choice.
  • Select your State/ UT and district.
  • You must have to fill the preference for CAPFs / Organizations.
  • Now candidates have to pay the application fee in online/offline mode.

Step 3: Application Fee 2024

  • The online application fee can be paid using various payment methods either of Debit Card / Net Banking / Credit Card /Mobile Wallets.
  • For offline mode, the application fee can be paid through SBI Challan.
  • After filling the registration form, take an automated generated e-receipt of the application fee.
  • The application fee is not the same for all candidates, it will be paid depending on the category of candidates:

SSC GD 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates will be able to apply for SSC GD Constable 2024, who satisfy all the eligibility criteria as per the requirement of the commission such as Nationality, Age limit, Educational Qualification, Body Measurement, etc.

Educational Qualification

  • All 10th passed candidates from any recognized board shall be eligible for this exam and hence can apply for the preferred posts.
  • Those candidates who are appearing in class 10th shall not be eligible for this exam.

Nationality

  • The nationality must be Indian for all the students applying for this exam.

Age limit

  • The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years while the maximum should be 23 years. However, the candidate will get relaxation as per the GOI/SSC norms.

SSC GD 2024 Exam Pattern

  • The SSC GD exam 2024 will be conducted virtually in CBT mode.
  • There will be no penalty for incorrect answers in CBT.
  • Those candidates who have passed the CBT with appropriate marks will appear for the next round in Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
  • For the final round of selection, a Medical Examination of the candidates will be carried out.

SSC GD 2024 CBT Exam Pattern

This exam will be conducted online. There will be a total of 100 questions carrying 100 marks (I mark for each question). There will be no negative marking in the exam. It has a total of 4 sections namely, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Elementary Maths, General Knowledge and General Awareness, and English / Hindi.

Physical Efficiency Test

After clearing the SSC GD CBT, candidates have to appear for the next round i.e. Physical Efficiency Test. To clear this round candidates have to take part in a race competition organized by the official authority. The criteria to clear the round is as follows:

  • Male Candidates: 5 km in 24 minutes
  • Female Candidates: 1.6 km in 8 ½ minutes

For candidates of Ladakh Region:

  • Male Candidates: 1 mile in 6 ½ minutes
  • Female Candidates: 800 meters in 4 minutes

Physical Standard Test

After the PET, candidates have to face another round namely, PST (physical standards test) on the basis of three factors:

Medical Examination

SSC GD 2024 Admit Card

Every candidate has to print the pdf of the admit card on blank paper. Authorities will release the admit card of the exam prior to two weeks of the examination. Candidates have to keep their admit cards safe till the selection process.

To download the admit card for the SSC GD 2024 exam, candidates have to follow the below steps-

  • Firstly, go to the official website of SSC i.e. https://ssc.nic.in/
  • Find the link to ‘Admit Card for SSC GD 2024′ and click on it.
  • Now carefully select your region (whatsoever you have filled at the time of filling application form)
