TSTET 2022 Application Process
The application form for the Telangana STET will be filled in online mode only on the official website of TSTET. Candidates will able to fill the application form just after the release of official notification. Here we have provided step by step procedure to fill the online application form. It is advisable to follow all the steps properly to avoid any mistakes.
How To Apply?
- First of all, visit the official website, and then click on the TSTET registration link.
- Fill all the necessary details such as name, address, contact details, etc. as required.
- After filling in the details preview the registration detail and then click on the submit button.
- After the successful registration, candidates will receive a confirmation mail or message on their registered contact details with a future login credential.
- After filling the registration form candidates have to pay a registration fee through online mode.
- After paying the registration fee, candidates have to fill their application form.
- Click on the application form link and fill in all the required details such as Personal details, Contact details, Educational details, etc. as required.
- Now preview the application form and click on the final submit button.
- After that upload a scanned copy of a recent passport size photograph, signature in .jpeg format, and class 10th mark sheet as per details provided in the official notification brochure.
Registration Fee
- All the candidates have to pay an equal amount of registration fee of Rs. 200/-.
- The fee will be debited in online mode via Debit card, credit card, Net Banking, etc.
Note:
- The registration will not be accepted without paying the registration fee.
- Do not forget to take a print out of the filled registration form, application form, and fee receipt.

TSTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are instructed to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. All the interested candidates shall be able to fill the online application form of TS TET only if they satisfy all the eligibility criteria as mentioned below.
Education Qualification
Primary Teacher (for Classes I-V)
- An eligible candidate must have acquired a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate marks in case of SC/ OBC/ ST/ PHD candidates) in Class XII or its equivalence + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El. Ed.).
OR,
- An eligible candidate must have acquired a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate marks in case of SC/ OBC/ ST/ Physically Disabled candidates) in Class XII or its equivalence + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR,
- An eligible candidate must have acquired a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate marks in case of SC/ OBC/ ST/ Physically Disabled candidates) in Class XII or its equivalence + 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Note- It should be noted that the above-mentioned eligibility criterion is valid only for those candidates who have passed D.El.Ed/ D.Ed prior to the issue date of notification of TSTET 2022.
Elementary School Teacher (Classes VI-VIII)
- Candidates who have completed their graduation (B.Com/ B.A/ B.Sc) with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate marks for ST/ SC/ OBC/ Physically Disabled aspirants) + 2 years of Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed Special Education).
Note:
It should be noted that the above-mentioned eligibility criterion is valid only for those candidates who have acquired or were admitted to the 2 years B.Ed course before the releasing date of TS TET Notification 2022.
OR,
- Candidates who have acquired 4-year B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed course with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% aggregate marks for ST/ SC/ OBC/ Physically Disabled aspirants).
OR,
- Candidates who have pursued Bachelor’s degree in Literature/ Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent)/ Bachelor’s degree with Language concerned as one of the optional subjects/ Post Graduation with Language related to one of the optional subjects.
OR,
- For Language teachers, candidates who have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Language concerned as one of the optional subjects or its equivalent along with a Language Pandit Training Certificate or having a B.Ed degree in the respective Language concerned as one of the Methodologies.
OR,
- For Language teachers, who have acquired a training certificate of Language Pandit or having B.Ed degree with Language related to one of the methodologies.

TSTET 2022 Exam Pattern
There are two papers in TSTET, namely, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is compulsory for those who want to become a Primary teacher (For classes 1-5) and Paper 2 is compulsory for those who want to become an Upper Primary teacher (For classes 6-8).

TSTET 2022 Admit Card
Admit card/ Hall Ticket of TSTET will be released officially in online mode on the official website of TSTET. TSTET admit card/ hall ticket 2022 will be available in PDF format from 7-14 days before the exam date. Candidates will able to download it from the official website of the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana. How to Download the Admit Card?
- Firstly, go through the official website of TSTET.
- Then click on the hall ticket download link.
- After clicking, you will be directed to a new interface where you have to enter the credentials such as application number, password (that were provided at the time of registration).
- Enter the details and log in and then you will able to download the TSTET admit card/ hall ticket.
TSTET 2022 Exam Center
The exam center will be allotted to the candidates according to their preference that was chosen at the time of filling the application form. TSTET 2022 Result
The result or scorecard of TSTET will be declared 1-2 months after the examination. It will be available online on the official website. You have to use your credential details to log in. To download the TSTET 2022 scorecard/ result, follow the below steps.
How to download?
- Go to the Telangana State TET’s official website.
- Search for the Result link and then click on it.
- After clicking the link, enter the login credentials such as roll no., date of birth, and captcha code.
- Now you will get the result page.
- Download the result/scorecard as provided and take a printout of the same for future reference.
Telangana State TET Certificate Validity Period
The scorecard of TSTET will be valid for the next 7 years after clearing the exam. The no. of attempts will not be counted so candidates can give many attempts as they want to improve their score.
TSTET 2022 Cutoff
The cut-off marks of TSTET are pre-decided by the Department of School Education, Telangana. To get recruitment as a teacher in any of government or private school of Telangana one should have to acquire the minimum cut-off marks set by the authority otherwise they will get disqualified.
The weightage of TSTET is 20% while the weightage of TRT (Teacher Recruitment Test) is 80%.

Note-
- Only visual and orthopedical disability shall be encountered in regards to those candidates who are differently-abled. while for those candidates who have hearing disabilities than in this case, a minimum of 75% disability shall be considered.

The validity period of the TSTET scorecard is 7 years after clearing the exam.
The minimum age should be 18 years while the maximum age should be 35 years. However, the age relaxation will be provided as per the norms of the Government of Telangana.
The registration fee is Rs. 200/- and it is the same for all the candidates. The fee will be paid in online mode.
No, it is not mandatory to attempt both the papers. Candidates have the right to choose either of the papers or they can attempt both if they want as per their recruitment needs.
