Tripura TET 2022 Eligibility

- In accordance with NCTE Regulations, 2002, candidates must have a minimum of 45 percent in Senior Secondary or any degree equivalent to it, as well as a 2-year Diploma in Upper Primary Education (or 1-year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-2005).

- Candidates must have a minimum grade point average of 45 percent in senior secondary school or an equivalent degree, as well as a four-year Bachelor of Upper Primary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
- Applicants should have a minimum of 45 percent in Senior Secondary School or an equivalent degree, as well as a two-year education diploma (Special education).
OR
- A graduate with a two-year diploma in upper primary education is required (or a 1-year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-2005).
OR
- A candidate must be a graduate with a minimum of 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed); additionally, a candidate with a B.Ed from any NCTE-recognized institute with 50% or more in graduation may be appointed as a primary school teacher only if the teacher completes a 6-month bridge course in upper primary education recognized by NCTE within two years of being appointed as a primary school teacher.
OR
- Candidates must have received a minimum grade of 45 percent in senior secondary or an equivalent degree (1-year relaxation as per MHRD notification, 4-1-2019).
OR
- Graduation (1-year relaxation as per MHRD notification, 4-1-2019).
Paper 2 (Teaching Standards 6 to 8).
The following requirements must be met by candidates:
- A graduate with a two-year diploma in upper primary education is required of the candidate (or a 1-year Diploma in Education up to the academic session 2004-2005).
OR
- A candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in education and be a graduate with a minimum grade of 50%. (B.Ed).
OR
- According to NCTE Regulations issued from time to time, the applicant must be a graduate with a minimum grade point average of 45 percent and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
OR
- Candidates must have a minimum grade point average of 50% in senior secondary school or an equivalent degree, as well as a four-year Bachelor of Upper Primary Education (B.El.Ed) degree.
OR
- Applicants should have a minimum of 45 percent in Senior Secondary School or an equivalent degree, as well as a four-year degree in either B.A. or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
- Graduation (1-year relaxation as per MHRD notification, 4-1-2019).
Note:
- Candidates in their final year of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) can apply for Papers 1 and 2 on a provisional basis.
- Candidates who have applied provisionally must complete their degree in the current academic year and produce a degree certificate or mark sheet in the degree of education or diploma in upper primary education with the minimum qualifying marks required. If the applicant fails to produce these documents, the certificate will be withheld and the candidate’s candidacy will be terminated.
