The application form will be filled in online mode on the official website of TNUSRB. How to Apply?
- First of all, Visit the TNUSRB’s official website.
- After reaching the official website find and click on the link, namely “TNUSRB SI Application Form”.

- Provide all the required information there.

TNUSRB SI 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Applicants must have completed the graduation in 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or 10+3+2/10+3+3 pattern in diploma courses from a Government recognized Institution/University.
- Candidates who have completed the graduation after completion of SSLC & ITI in 10+3+2 patterns from distance education/open universities/colleges are also eligible.
- Candidates having a degree course in the 10+2+3 pattern from an open university are not eligible.
- Candidates must have studied the Tamil language in Class X or XII are eligible only.
Age Limit
- The minimum age of candidates should be 20 years and the maximum age should be 28 years.
- The relaxation in age will be provided for SI post as per the norm of the Tamil Nadu Government are as follow in the table.

TNUSRB SI 2022 Exam Pattern
The revised exam pattern is available on the official website of TNUSRB. Whether a candidate belongs from an open quota or from a departmental quota, the SI exam pattern is different for both the quota.
Open Quota Candidates
The question paper is comprised of two parts, Part A and Part B.
- Part A:
- The type of the questions asked in this section is of MCQs.
- Part A usually tests the general knowledge of the candidates.
- The total number of questions in this section is 80
- The total marks allotted for this section is 40 marks.
- Part B:
- The type of the questions asked in this section is of MCQs.
- The total number of questions in this section is 60.
- The total marks allotted for this section is 30 marks.
- Marking Scheme:
- ½ marks will be given for each correct in both the parts.
- No negative marking will be there for any incorrect answer in both the parts.
- The overall marks i.e. maximum marks allotted for this examination is 70 marks.
- The time allotted for both sections is 150 minutes.
- To qualify the exam, candidates must have to score at least 25 marks.
Departmental Quota Candidates
The question paper is comprised of two parts, Part A and Part B.
- Part A:
- The type of the questions asked in this section is of MCQs.
- Part A usually tests the general knowledge of the candidates.
- The total number of questions in this section is 30.
- The total marks allotted for this section is 15 marks.
- Part B:
