SSC CPO 2022: CPO stands for Central Police Organisation in its full form. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) holds an exam to recruit candidates for the position of Sub-inspector (SI) of Police. The exam is held on a national scale for SI positions in various police organisations such as the ITBP, BSF, CRPF, and the SI in the Delhi Police, among others. The SSC conducts the recruitment exam for the CPO exam, which is one of the government organisations for which the SSC conducts the recruitment exam.
The Staff Selection Committee administers the SSC CPO Exam. The SSC administers exams for a variety of positions in government departments and ministries. SSC’s headquarters are in New Delhi, and the organisation has six regional offices in Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, and Bengaluru.
This examination is held on a national level. This test is taken by a large number of students who would like to join this organisation as of its national level approach.
There are a total of 7 posts under the SSC CPO Exam:
- Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police
- Sub-Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF)
- Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
- Sub-Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
- Sub-Inspector in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF)
- Sub-Inspector in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
- Assistant Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
The exam will be divided into three parts. If a candidate passes the first level, he or she will be eligible for the second level, which is the physical examination. After passing the physical exam, the candidate must take another written exam. Both exams are made up of multiple-choice questions.
The SSC CPO 2022 Exam is conducted in various stages as mentioned below:
- Phase 1 of the exam will be 200 marks with a time limit of 2 hours. General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension are some of the topics covered.
- Phase 2 of the exam will last 2 hours and will be worth 200 marks. English language and comprehension are among the topics covered. Both exams will be administered via a computer-based test in an online format. Those who pass the written exams will be eligible to take the physical endurance test. Male and female candidates have different test requirements. For the SSC CPO exam, there will be no interview.

SSC CPO 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The conducting authority, the Staff Selection Commission, determines the eligibility criteria for the SSC CPO 2022 exam (SSC). To apply for the exam, candidates must meet the SSC CPO 2022 eligibility requirements. The following are the eligibility criteria in terms of nationality, academic qualification, and age limit:
Nationality
The applicant must be an Indian citizen, or
The applicant can be a Nepalese, Bhutanese, or Tibetan refugee living in India, or
Applicants who intend to settle in India and have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam are eligible to apply for the SSC CPO Exam.
Academical Qualification
- On or before January 1, 2022, the candidates must have graduated in any discipline from any recognised university in India as such by the Central Government.
- Delhi Police Sub-Inspector: For PET, male candidates must have a valid LMV (Car & Motorcycle) driver’s licence (Physical Endurance and Standard Tests). PET will not be available to candidates who do not have a valid driver’s licence. A driver’s licence, on the other hand, is not required when filling out the SSC CPO 2022 application form.
Age Limit
- As of August 1, 2022, the candidate must be 20 years old.
- As of January 1, 2022, the maximum age limit is 25 years.
- The age limit for reserved category candidates will be relaxed.

SSC CPO 2022 Application Form
The Staff Selection Commission’s official website will have the SSC CPO 2022 Application Form. Candidates can only apply for one zone of the SSC CPO.
Candidates must fill in all of the information requested on the application form. The following information is requested on the SSC CPO application form:
- Personal Details: Candidate’s name, parent’s name, date of birth, gender and certificates, etc.
- Basic Details: Aadhar Card number, category, nationality, and certificate number, etc.
- Contact Details: Permanent address, state, Pincode, STD code, mobile number, and email ID.
Payment: Only General and OBC candidates must pay a fee of INR 100 for the SSC CPO application form, while candidates from other reserved categories do not have to pay anything. The fee can be paid online (via credit card, debit card, or net banking) or offline (via SBI Challan).
Image Upload: Candidates must submit a jpg/jpeg scanned copy of a recent passport-size photo and signature.
- Photograph: The photo should be between 30 and 50 KB in size, with a resolution of 100 pixels wide and 120 pixels tall.
- Signature: The signature must be between 1 and 12 KB in size, with a resolution of 140 pixels wide and 60 pixels high.
How to fill SSC CPO Application Form?
Applicants who want to sit for the SSC CPO exam must submit their applications before the deadline. Applicants who successfully complete the application form and pay the fee will be issued an admit card. The procedure for filling out the SSC CPO 2022 application form is outlined below.
Step 1: Candidates must go to the official website at http://www.ssc.nic.in and click on the ‘Apply’ link to fill out the application form for the SSC CPO 2022 exam.
Step 2: A window will appear, prompting you to select the CAPF tab and then the ‘Click here to Apply’ link.
Step 3: After clicking the above link, a new window will open in which you must click the ‘Register’ link to access the registration form. Fill in the blanks and press ‘Enter.’ If you’ve already signed up, click “Log In” to access the application form.
Step 4: After completing the registration process, candidates will receive an email with a registration number and password.
Step 5: After completing the registration process, candidates must log in using their registration number and password and complete the application form by providing personal information such as parent’s name, gender, date of birth, category, religion, communication and permanent address, mobile number, and educational information such as name of graduation degree, marks/CGPA obtained, year of graduation, and so on.
Step 6: Pay the application fee to complete the last step (either online or offline mode). Print a copy of the completed application form for your records.
Note: In the ‘Apply Part’ section, candidates can fill out, edit, and print their SSC CPO exam application form. To log in, candidates must use their registration number and password.

Candidates who applied for the SSC CPO 2022 exam can get their admit cards online at http://www.ssc.nic.in. To obtain the SSC CPO 2022 Admit Card, candidates must enter their application number, date of birth, and security pin. Steps to download the SSC CPO Admit Card/Hall Ticket
- Step 1: Go to the official website and select “Admit Card” from the drop-down menu.
- Step 2: A new window will open, displaying a list of all regional website links. Candidates must select the region to which they belong and then click on the appropriate link.
- Step 3: Candidates will be directed to the regional website, where they will be able to download the SSC CPO admit card.
- Step 4: Select “Know Your Status and Download e-Admit Card” from the drop-down menu. Candidates will be directed to a new page where they must enter their Roll number/Registration number as well as their Date of Birth as a password. The candidates must then select the Search status option.
- Step 5: If the candidate does not have access to the registration number, he or she can provide the name of their father or guardian, as well as their date of birth.
- Step 6: On the computer screen, the SSC CPO 2022 Admit Card will now appear. The candidate can now print his or her Admit Card after downloading it.

SSC CPO 2022 Result
The official website will announce the dates for the SSC CPO 2022 Result. When the SSC CPO 2022 result is released, candidates can check it on the SSC official website, http://www.ssc.nic.in. Both papers’ results will be announced separately. Candidates who pass Paper I and the Physical Endurance Test (PET) are invited to take the final or Paper II exam. Within a month or two of the exam, the SSC CPO 2022 Paper-I Result is expected to be released. The date for the announcement of the Paper-II results will be announced later.
Steps to download SSC CPO 2022 Results
Step 1: Go to ssc.nic.in, the SSC’s official website.
Step 2: Candidates should look for and click on the “Result” tab at the top of the page.
Step 3: Candidates must find the exam whose results they want to see and then click the ‘Click Here’ link under the CAPF tab.
Step 4: A pdf file containing a Merit list with the results will open. The candidates who passed Paper-I, Physical Endurance Test (PET), and Paper-II will be listed on the list. Candidates can check whether or not their roll number appears on the list. If a candidate’s roll number does not appear on the list, he or she has not qualified for the exam.
Step 5: The candidate can download the results, print them out, and keep them safe for future reference.

Staff Selection Commission Central Police Organization is the full name of the organisation. SSC administers a government exam for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors in the Delhi Police, Assistant Sub Inspectors in the CISF, and Sub Inspectors in the CAPF.

- Step 1: Go to the official website and select “Admit Card” from the drop-down menu.
- Step 2: A new window will open, displaying a list of all regional website links. You must select the region to which they belong and then click the appropriate link.
- Step 3: You will be taken to a regional website where you can download the SSC CPO Admit Card.
- Step 4: Select “Know Your Status and Download e-Admit Card” from the drop-down menu. It will redirect you to a new page where you must enter your Roll number/Registration number as well as your Date of Birth as a password. Then select Search status from the drop-down menu.
- Step 5: If you don’t have the registration number handy, you can provide the name of your father or guardian, as well as the date of birth.
- Step 6: On the computer screen, the SSC CPO 2022 Admit Card will now appear. You can now print out your Admit Card after downloading it.

Yes, final-year students can apply for the SSC CPO 2019. However, they must be able to produce a degree certificate by August 1, 2019.

To be considered for any SSC CPO position, you must complete three steps. Stage 1: Exam 1 (Paper 1): The Paper-I will be used as a warm-up exercise. This is a qualifying examination. Stage 2: Physical Entrance Test: Candidates who pass the first paper will be required to take a Physical Endurance Test (PET) in order to continue in the recruitment process.
