The method of preparation plays an important role in clearing any exam. Whichever method you are trying to prepare for the CHSL examination must include some important tips which are given as follows.
The officials of SSC will declare the result for each tier separately in the form of a merit list. The result for each tier can be accessed easily as it will be available on the official website as well as the regional website of SSC. Given below are the steps to download the SSC CHSL result.
If two or more candidates secure the same score after applying the normalization in the Tier I+II examination then the following criteria will be applied, one by one until the tie is resolved.
After 2-3 weeks of examination of SSC CHSL, the officials will release the provisional answer key for every set of papers of the CHSL exam. Candidates will have to download the answer key by matching it with their question paper set only. It will be available in pdf format and accessible from the official website of SSC or its regional website.
Candidates can tally their answers with the official answer key for taking an idea about their final score on the CSHL exam.
The selection process will comprise of mainly 4 stages:
First of all, candidates will have to clear Tier 1 with appropriate marks and then will have to score well in Tier 2 of the CHSL exam. After clearing both tiers, candidates will have to appear for the Skill Test. One who qualifies for the skill test will call for the Document Verification process for the final mode of selection. It should be remembered that the final score of the first two tiers will be responsible for preparing the merit list however Tier 3 is qualifying only.
One who qualifies all 4 stages will be allotted the numerous fields as Postal Assistant/Sorting assistant/ Lower Divisional Clerk/ Data Entry Operator/ Court Clerk, etc. based on their merit and choice of post.
CHSL cut-off is the minimum qualifying mark that candidates must have to score to get entry to appear for the next stage of selection. Here we have provided the post wise previous year cut off for the SSC CHSL exam of 2018-19 for tier 1.
