The interview round is the next step in the RSMSSB Forest Guard Exam. The interview is worth ten marks. Candidates who pass the written exam and the physical tests (PST and PET) will advance to the next round. Candidates must participate in the RSMSSB Forest Guard selection process, which is determined by the board. Candidates will be required to participate in all four stages of the selection procedure.

The Forest Guard and the Forester are not the same position. The recruitment process is similar for both, with minor differences in eligibility criteria. For both positions, the RSMSSB administers the same exam. There are two levels to the exam.
