Candidates who are chosen by the Railway Recruitment Board for the position of Junior Engineer are entitled to their share of the salary. Candidates are also given allowances in addition to a salary.
The salary is based on the 7th Pay Commission’s Level 6 pay scale. Candidates are not hired permanently. First and foremost, they are undergoing training.
