Applicants interested in applying for RBI assistant should be aware of the RBI assistant syllabus and exam pattern. Applicants who have been provisionally selected from the main online examination will be required to take a language proficiency test (LPT). Applicants begin their preparation by consulting the RBI Assistant Prelims Syllabus for English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning section. The RBI preliminary exam is divided into three sections, each of which contains 100 objective-based questions worth 100 points. In a one-hour period, the candidate would have to answer 100 objective questions.

The Reserve Bank of India has released the English language, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, computer knowledge, and general awareness sections of the RBI assistant mains syllabus 2024. It is divided into five sections, each with 200 objective type questions worth 200 points.

General Intelligence and Reasoning, Computer Ability, and English Comprehension are easy subjects on the RBI Assistant exam, which is moderately difficult. The remaining sections are moderately challenging.
In the RBI assistant prelims and mains exams, one-fourth (0.25) of a mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
In the RBI assistant exam 2024, there will be no such interview. Preliminary and main exams, as well as language proficiency tests, are all used in the selection process.
