The deadline for determining applicants’ ages is January 1, 2024. The minimum age requirement is 18 years, and the maximum age requirement is 37 years.
PSPCL also relaxes age requirements for candidates who fall into certain categories. The age relaxation is in accordance with Punjab government directives.

As previously stated, PSPCL conducts the selection process for various vacancies in three phases. Eligible applicants are shortlisted for the next phase of the selection process based on the merit list after each phase.
PSPCL uses the Normalization process to evaluate the marks of all applicants who took the exam in multiple shifts for the same position on a common scale.
Applicants who fall into the PSPCL’s designated categories are given priority. They are as follows:
Filling out the application for the reservation and producing the required documents should be done as soon as possible. It should also be noted that an applicant will only be regarded for reservation if he or she is from Punjab.
The number of applicants shortlisted for Phase II (Main examination) will be roughly four times the total number of vacancies for each position. In Phase-I, the merit list will be prepared in descending order of merit (Preliminary examination).
PSPCL exam 2024 will be conducted in 3 phases viz.
The Phase I and Phase II exams are each worth 100 marks. There are a total of 100 questions, each of which is worth one mark. For each incorrect answer, a negative 0.25 mark is deducted.
Only one phase of the online examination for the positions of Assistant Lineman and Assistant Sub-Station Attendant will be held. There will be two phases to the online examination for the position of Junior Engineer.

The PSPCL exam is held in various locations throughout Punjab. While filling out the online application, applicants have the option of selecting their preferred test centre. If the student’s preferred exam centre is unavailable or has reached maximum capacity, the PSPCL authority will assign any other exam centre, regardless of the candidate’s preference.
The hall ticket will contain information about the examination centre, reporting date and time, and other instructions for taking the PSPCL exam.
PSPCL does not accept requests to change examination centres once they have been assigned.
Applicants must bring their admit cards with them to the exam. Failure to produce admit cards will result in admission to the examination hall being denied.
PSPCL will issue official call letters for the exam with a scheduled date and time after the registration period has ended. The exam dates for PSPCL 2024 have yet to be announced. Candidates who have applied for the exam can then get their admit cards from the PSPCL’s official website.
