PPSC Exam 2022-Selection Process

The Punjab Public Service Commission administers the PPSC exam in two stages. The PPSC Preliminary Exam and the PPSC Mains Exam.

The preliminary tests are scheduled to take place in September of 2022. Only those applicants who have passed the PPSC Prelims exam will be permitted to take the PPSC Mains exam. There will be two rounds in total: a written round and an interview round. Candidates who pass both of these rounds will be considered for selection to the Punjab Civil Service.

PPSC Preliminary Exam Pattern 2022

PAPER I and PAPER-II are the two papers that make up the PPSC preliminary exam. Each paper consists solely of multiple-choice questions and is worth a total of 200 points. The prelims have a maximum time limit of 2 hours and there are no negative markings.

PPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2022

As previously stated, the PPSC Mains is separated into two rounds (Written and Interview). There are seven papers in total, with both MCQs and subjective-type problems. The maximum time limit for the PPSC Mains is 3 hours, with an additional 60 minutes for visually impaired applicants. The following are further details:

PPSC CCE Physical Test Date 2022

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has published the Physical Exam date for the Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination-2020. Candidates who pass the interview will be eligible to take the PPSC physical exam on June 16, 2021. Only those applicants who want to be Deputy Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Jails (Grade II), or District Probation Officer will have to take the physical exam (jails).

Q1. What are the documents required to be carried to the examination hall?

Ans.  Candidates must carry the following documents to the examination hall:
A hard copy of the hall ticket/admits card.
Valid ID Proof (Aadhar Card/ Voter ID/ PAN, etc)
A hard copy of the PPSC application form

Q2. Is there any negative marking in the PPSC Mains Exam?

Ans. The prelims and major exams do not have any negative markings. However, any complaints to the answer key will result in negative markings if they are determined to be untrue.
