The NHAI Recruitment 2024 has been made available for 49 positions. The online application for NHAI Recruitment 2024 is available until February 2, 2024, with the application window opening on January 2, 2024. Students in their last year of Civil Engineering at NITs, IITs, government-run engineering schools, and private engineering institutions are eligible for this internship programme. From July 2024, interested students can apply for the internship at AICTE’s internship portal.

Generally 10 days before the exam, the NHAI will make the admit card distribution date known on its official website. Candidates must carefully review all the information on the admission card, including the name, seat number, title of the opening, location, date, and time of the exam.

To be chosen for various positions with the NHAI, candidates must adhere to a specific procedure. To appear for the following rounds, each round must be completed. The choice procedure is described below.
Candidates will be allowed to take a computer-based test provided they meet the required eligibility requirements (essential qualification, experience, and age) (C.B.T.). The NTA Recruitment Portal will provide qualified candidates with online access to the release of the admit card. At least seven days prior to the C.B.T., the Candidates will be notified by automated email or SMS to access their respective Admit Cards.
Part-I and Part-II of the C.B.T. test will be administered. There will be 100 questions in each section. For General/OBC/EWS candidates, the qualifying marks for Part II of the CBT will be 30%, while for S.C., S.T., and P.W.D. candidates, the qualifying points will be 20%. One mark will be deducted for every four incorrect answers, giving a negative marking ratio of 1:4.
After the CBT, the eligible list of candidates who have been shortlisted based on merit will be requested to attend a 1:5 interview ratio in New Delhi. The Call Letter, which will be distributed electronically via the NTA recruitment portal as described above, will provide the date, time, and location of the Interview. At least seven days prior to the interview date, the shortlisted candidates will be notified via a public notice, automatic email, and SMS to download their respective Call Letters.
The following criteria will be used to create the final Merit List of candidates for the Post, which will be generated in a 1: 3 ratio:

If two or more applicants from the same category receive equal marks and are on the final merit list, the following factors will be taken into account:
Candidates who received the best scores on the C.B.T. Part-II test would be given higher merit placements.
The candidates with better qualifications will be ranked higher on the merit list if their scores on the C.B.T. Part-II examination are equal.
The candidate who received higher marks in higher qualifications will be put higher on the merit list if the C.B.T. Part-II examination and qualification marks are also the same.

All of the solutions to the test questions are included in the NHAI Answer key. Their official website, which is stated in this post, will host the release. It will be made public about a month following the examination. Once the NHAI releases the answer keys, this section will be updated. After the test, NHAI will release the results. The final results will be posted on the official website, and those applicants who pass the test will be invited for an interview. 33 per cent on the objective test will be the minimal passing score. However, the NHAI will publish a cut-off list on its official website.

NHAI officers make between Rs 15,600 to Rs 2,92,000 years in pay. In addition to the monthly income, candidates will also receive benefits including Dearness Allowance and House Rent Allowance.
