MPSC Exam Pattern 2022: The Maharashtra government uses the MPSC exam to recruit people for various positions in several departments. The MPSC test is held once a year in both English and Marathi. Candidates should practise MPSC Prelims and Mains Exam papers from previous years before taking the exam. There are no optional subjects in the exam, which consists of two qualifying Prelims Papers followed by six Mains Papers.
The Maharashtra Public Service Commission, which conducts the exams, has released the MPSC Exam Pattern 2022. (MPSC). Because MPSC is a PSC test, there are three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview, according to the MPSC exam format. To advance to the next round, a candidate must pass each stage. The MPSC Prelims exam contains two papers: General Studies (GS) and Civil Service Aptitude Test (CSAT) (CSAT). The Mains exam format consists of six papers, two of which are language papers and four of which are General Studies papers.
The MPSC exam pattern for Prelims has changed, according to the most recent notice issued by MPSC on May 2, 2022. The CSAT examination in Prelims has now evolved into a qualifying exam. The CSAT paper must be passed with a score of at least 33 per cent.
Furthermore, the MPSC Prelims are for 400 points, the Mains are worth 800 points, and the interview is worth 100 points. MPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2021-22
MPSC 2022 will consist of a Preliminary Exam with two papers and the Main Exam with six required papers. The Preliminary exam acts as a warm-up for the Main exam. The MPSC solution key for prelims is released shortly after the exam. To be eligible for the MPSC Mains exam, candidates must score at least 33 per cent in the Prelims.
- Each paper is worth 200 points and takes two hours to complete.
- For each erroneous answer, the candidates would lose a quarter of a point. Previously, each incorrect answer resulted in a 13-point deduction.
- Every question is written in both Marathi and English.
- Only the Prelims marks will be used to shortlist candidates for the MPSC Mains exam.

MPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2021-22
Aspirants who obtain the minimal MPSC cutoff marks set by the Commission will be issued an admission card to sit for the MPSC Mains Exam.
- There will be six papers in MPSC Mains 2022.
- For each incorrect answer to the objective questions, a quarter of a point is deducted. Previously, each incorrect answer resulted in a 13-point deduction.
- In paper II, there are no negative markings for improperly answered decision-making questions.
- The qualifying marks for both general and reserved category students in each MPSC Mains exam paper are 45 and 40 points, respectively.

MPSC Personality Test
- The MPSC selection procedure comes to a close with this stage.
- Candidates who achieve the cutoff score in paper II will be invited to the interview stage.
- A team of qualified and unbiased members will conduct the MPSC Personality Test.
