Educational Qualifications

For specific positions, the minimum educational requirements are as follows:

  • Candidates for Accounts Assistant positions must have graduated from a recognized university in any stream with a minimum aggregate score of 50% for general candidates and 45 percent for reserved candidates.
  • Candidates for Class IV jobs must have completed their 10th (Matriculation) or intermediate from a recognized board.

  • As per the announcements by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, through S.O. 1229 (E) (dated March 31, 2020) and the General Administration Department, Government of J&K, vide S.O. 166, the applicant must be a resident of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (dated March 18, 2020).
  • Candidates who are classified as “migrants” in SRO 412 of 2009 or “Kashmiri Pandits” in SRO 425 of 2017 are eligible to apply.

JKSSB Class IV Selection Process
