Selection Criteria for Indian Navy SSR AA 2022
Due to the COVID19 pandemic, a public-interest exception has been made, and approximately 10,000 people will be considered for the written exam and PFT.
The exam qualification percentage (10 +2 exam) will be used to create a shortlist of candidates for the written exam and PFT. Because the jobs were assigned by the state, the cut-off number may differ from state to state.
Written test for Indian Navy SSR AA
- The questionnaire will be objective and bilingual (Hindi and English).
- The survey will be divided into four sections: English, Science, Mathematics, and General Culture.

- The exam will take one hour to complete.
- On the same day as the written exam, all candidates would take the PFT.
Physical Fitness Test for Indian Navy SSR AA (PFT)
Physical Fitness Test (PFT) qualification is required for selection.
PFT entails a 7-minute mile run, 20 squats (Uthak Baithak), and 10 push-ups. Candidates who take the PFT do so at their own risk.
The following are the merit lists for AA and SSR based on performance on the written examination subject to the Qualifying Physical Aptitude Test (PFT):
- (a) AA – The top 600 candidates in the All India Orders of Merit who meet the AA’s eligibility criteria will be sent a notification for the final enrollment medical examination at INS Chilka.
- (b) SSR – Based on state merit, approximately 2,500 candidates will be invited to the final medical exam for enrollment at INS Chilka.
