IES Final Result 2022: On March 28, 2022, the IES final result of 2022 was revealed. Candidates who took the IES 2021 exam should go to the website and check their results. For various fields, a total of 194 individuals have been shortlisted. A total of 106 candidates for Group ‘A’/’B’ Services/Posts have also been shortlisted.

How To Download UPSC IES Prelims Result 2022?

• Step 1: Go to the direct result link provided above.
• Step 2: Scroll down to the candidates who passed the preliminary examination.
• Step 3: Using CTRL+F, look up your roll number.
• Step 4: If your name and phone number appear, you passed the exam.

UPSC IES Exam Pattern and Selection Process

The UPSC IES selection process will be divided into three stages. To be included in the final merit list, candidates must pass all three phases of the selection procedure. These are the stages:

• Stage 1: Preliminary examination
• Stage 2: Exam for the mains
• Stage 3: Personality examination

IES Prelims Result

Each stage’s IES result is announced separately by UPSC. On February 20, 2022, the IES Prelims test will be held.

• General Studies, Engineering Aptitude, and Civil Engineering will be the two papers in the IES Preliminary test.
• Total marks available: 500
• Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will be invited to take the Mains examination.
• Candidates’ performance in the preliminary exam will be factored in toward the final outcome.
• It is necessary to achieve minimum qualifying marks in both examinations. This will also be a selection criterion for the Main examination.
• Only those who qualify for the following step will be given an IES Admit Card.

IES Mains Result 

• Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will be entitled to take the IES Mains exam, which is scheduled to take place in September 2022.
• Total marks available: 600
• The primary exam results are expected to be released in the first week of August.
• The IES Mains Exam comprises two traditional type papers in each engineering discipline.
• The examination will last 3 hours.
• Candidates who pass the main exam according to UPSC’s qualifying requirements will be invited to take the personality test.

IES Interview

• For the personality test, UPSC will shortlist candidates twice the number of vacancies.
• The total number of points available for the personality test will be 200, with no minimum passing score.
• Leadership, initiative, intellectual curiosity, tact and other social traits, mental and physical energy, practical application abilities, and character integrity will all be evaluated as part of the personality test.

IES Final Result

• After the interview round, the final IES result will be announced.
• The candidate’s performance in the preliminary exam, main exam, and personality test will be used to determine the final outcome.
• The final result will be published as a pdf document with the roll numbers of qualified candidates in each discipline.
• Candidates will be assigned to various services based on their exam scores and the preferences they have made for specific services/posts.

UPSC IES Personality Test

This is the final step in the hiring process. It receives a total of 200 points, bringing the total score to 1300. ( Prelims – 500, Mains – 600, Personality test- 200). In the personality exam, there are no minimum qualifying marks. Candidates will be evaluated on a variety of factors, including decision-making abilities, problem-solving abilities, leadership abilities, and social quality.
