Eligibility Criteria for ICMR JRF

Applicants who wish to participate in the ICMR JRF Exam must meet the following eligibility requirements

• The ICMR JRF has a maximum age limit of 28 years. However, OBC candidates can apply until they are 31 years old, while SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates can apply until they are 33 years old.
• Candidates must have earned an M.A./M.Sc. degree or its equivalent from a recognised university with at least 55 percent marks (for General/ EWS/ OBC candidates).
• SC/ ST/ PWD candidates must obtain a minimum of 50 percent in their M.A./M.Sc degree.
• ICMR JRF Exam 2022 is open to M.A./M.Sc candidates who have completed their final exam and are awaiting their results.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for ICMR JRF

Candidates must achieve a minimum qualifying percentage in the Entrance Exam to pass the ICMR JRF exam.

• The minimum qualifying mark for candidates in the General/ OBC/ EWS categories is 55%.
• To pass the exam, SC/ ST/ PwD candidates must obtain a 50% score.

Aspirants for the ICMR JRF who are just beginning their preparation can begin with the Aptitude section, which contains very basic questions. They can begin studying for the Aptitude section with books from grades 9 to 12. For the Science section, however, NCERT books 11 and 12 (Biology) and any NEET or PMT reference book are excellent resources.
