HPSC Exam Pattern: When preparing for the HCS (Executive Branch) and Allied Services Exam, the first step is to familiarise yourself with the exam pattern, syllabus, and marking scheme. This will make it easier to plan out how and what to study, making the preparation process go more smoothly. The HPSC Haryana Civil Service exam is modelled after the UPSC exam. The exam is a paper-based, offline examination. The exam format has undergone some minor changes, which will be discussed later in this article. Aspirants should review the previous year’s question papers to learn about the types of questions that were asked.

For final selection, the HCS exam has three stages: preliminary, mains, and personal interview. Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will be eligible to take the Mains exam. Following that, candidates are invited to an interview round, after which the final selection is made.
HPSC Exam Pattern: The HPSC Civil Services Selection Process begins with the preliminary examination. According to student feedback, the preliminary examination is simple. Candidates can, however, refer to the following Haryana Civil Services Rules for the exam:

The final stage of the HPSC Civil Services 2022 Selection Process is the interview. Only those candidates who receive a high score on the Mains examination are invited to the interview stage. According to the official announcement, the interview evaluates the candidate’s personality, communication skills, and overall mentality.
The interview round is worth 75 points, according to the Haryana Civil Services Rules. This stage of the interview will assess the candidate’s personality, oratory skills, and other factors. The HPSC compiles a final merit list by combining the results of the interview and the Mains exam.
