GPSC Exam Pattern 2022: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is the government agency in charge of hiring government employees. Mains Exam Pattern for GPSC 2022
There will be six papers in the GPSC 2022 mains exam. All of the exam questions will be descriptive. Only those who have passed the preliminary exam will be allowed to take the Mains Exam. After passing the mains exam, the candidate will take a personality test, and their overall performance on all of these exams will be evaluated.

- Each essay question in the English and Gujarati papers will be worth 20 points, and the candidate will be required to write 250-300 word essays in each language.
- The grammar questions will be worth 20 points in both Gujarati and English, with each sub-question worth 2 points.
- The remaining questions on the English and Gujarati papers will be worth ten points each.
- Candidates must write three essays in 800 words for the Essay paper, one from each section.
- The clarity of thought, the information presented, arguments, grammar, awareness, and format will all be considered when grading the essays.
- There will be 15 questions in the General Studies Papers, each worth ten points.
- Each response will be limited to 200 words.

Syllabus & Exam Pattern for GPSC Assistant Engineer 2022
The GPSC Assistant Engineer posts in the Civil and Electrical category are open to candidates who have specialised in the fields of civil and electrical engineering. The Prelims exam for both categories of Assistant Engineer has two parts. Part 1, General Studies, is the same for both civil and electrical engineering departments. Part 2 will be different for each post and will be determined by the GPSC Assistant Engineer post’s concerned department. The GPSC Syllabus for the Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Assistant Engineer (Electrical) has been expanded upon.
The GPSC Assistant Engineer selection process will be divided into two stages:
