GPSC Exam Pattern 2022: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is the government agency in charge of hiring government employees. The GPSC is also in charge of administering exams for the recruitment of various government positions. The GPSC offers a number of different positions at various levels. To succeed in the GPSC examinations, candidates must understand the GPSC syllabus, exam pattern, and marking scheme and study accordingly. The exam pattern is based on previous GPSC exam patterns and will be updated with new information on a regular basis.

The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) preliminary exam will consist of two General Knowledge-based papers. All of the questions will be objective. Here is the GPSC 2022 Exam Pattern and Prelims Paper Breakdown:

Notes –
Both GPSC Prelims papers are based on General Studies. Questions will be asked on a variety of topics, including history, current events, civics, and so on. The syllabus for GPSC Prelims Paper 1 and Paper 2 is summarised below.

There will be six papers in the GPSC 2022 mains exam. All of the exam questions will be descriptive. Only those who have passed the preliminary exam will be allowed to take the Mains Exam. After passing the mains exam, the candidate will take a personality test, and their overall performance on all of these exams will be evaluated.

The GPSC Assistant Engineer posts in the Civil and Electrical category are open to candidates who have specialised in the fields of civil and electrical engineering. The Prelims exam for both categories of Assistant Engineer has two parts. Part 1, General Studies, is the same for both civil and electrical engineering departments. Part 2 will be different for each post and will be determined by the GPSC Assistant Engineer post’s concerned department. The GPSC Syllabus for the Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Assistant Engineer (Electrical) has been expanded upon.
The GPSC Assistant Engineer selection process will be divided into two stages:
Part 1 of the Preliminary exam is the same for both the Civil and Electrical departments of GPSC Assistant Engineers, while Part 2 is specific to the respective Assistant Engineer department. The following are some of them:
