Delhi Police Constable Selection Process 2022
The Delhi Police Constable test is a highly competitive exam, thus candidates must understand the selection process before devising a study strategy. The traditional method of selection required applicants to pass a physical endurance test before proceeding to the pen-paper-based examination. However, in light of the coronavirus epidemic, the selection procedure has been altered from previous years. Candidates must pass four steps to be included in the final selection list, according to the Delhi Police Constable selection procedure 2022. Computer-Based Test
The computer-based test is the first stage in the Delhi Police Constable Selection Procedure 2022. It is an objective style test with 100 questions worth 1 mark each and 0.25 points deducted for each incorrect answer. The Delhi Police Constable Tier 1 exam must be completed in 1 hour and 30 minutes or 90 minutes. The table below shows the entire exam pattern for Delhi Police Constable 2022:

Physical Endurance and Measurement Test
The Physical Test for Delhi Police Constables is the second stage of the selection process for Delhi Police Constables in 2022. Candidates who pass the Tier 1 or written exam with the Delhi Police will be called for a physical examination. The Delhi Police Constable selection system has two sub-stages in the second stage:
- Physical Endurance Test (PET)
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
Physical Endurance Test

Medical Test
The Medical Test is the third stage of the Delhi Police Constable Selection Process 2022. (MT). Candidates who pass all of the previous rounds will be invited to take a medical examination by a Medical Officer in any Central/State government hospital. The following are the medical requirements for candidates:
- Candidates must be in good health.
- They must be devoid of all illnesses and deformities.
- They must not be colourblind and have had no eye surgery.
- Without spectacles, candidates must have a vision of 6/12 in both eyes.
- Tattoos on bodily parts are permitted if the size is less than 14 (Elbow or Hand) and the tattoo contains a religious symbol or figure as well as the name.
Document Verification
Candidates who pass all of the previous stages continue to the final stage of the Delhi Police Constable Selection Procedure, Document Verification, where they must bring all of their documents to the designated centre for verification. The following documents are necessary at this step of the selection process:
- Category/ Caste Certificate
- Essential Educational Qualification Certificates
- Driving License (For Male Candidates)
- Hill Area Certificate (If Applicable)
- 2 recent passport size photographs
- For Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Serving Defence Personnel Certificate/ NOC, Discharge Certificate
- Secondary/Matriculation Certificate
