CSIR-NCL Recruitment 2024 Application Process

Steps to apply

  1. Qualified people must apply on-line solely through the official website http://recruit.ncl.res.in, followed by the causation textual matter of the on-line application, along with all of the tutorial certificates, mark sheets, and skill certificates, and so on.
  2. If the applicant does not have a valid e-mail address, a new one should be created before applying online.
  3. The deadline to apply, will be available on http://recruit.ncl.res.in.
  4. The application fee is expected to be Rs. 100/- (non-refundable) payable via NEFT or other on-line payment options to ‘Director, National Chemical Laboratory.’
  5. The online payment system must generate an acknowledgement of the remitted application fee, which must include the UTR Number / Transaction Number and Transaction Date, as well as a hard copy of the online application. The deadline for submitting an online application and making a payment for the application fee will be announced soon. This date would be the same for applicants from all over the world.
  6. On the back of the printed copy of the provided acknowledgement of the remitted application fee, fill in the following information.
    • Application ID
    • Name of the Applicant
    • Candidate types
    • Submitted for Post Code. Applicants belonging to the group SC / ST / PWD / Women / CSIR Workers / Abroad Applicants are removed from the application fee.
  7. Candidates should use the formula provided by their university to convert their CGPA/SGPA/OGPA grades to percentages.
  8. The first time a user logs in, they must press the ‘Register’ key. Applicants must include their email address, which will be used as a login ID in the system. The activation key will be sent to that email address. It will activate its NCL Recruitment Portal account after clicking the activation key. Once it is enabled, he or she can log in and continue to apply. Please note that candidates may apply for multiple positions using the same login ID.
  9. He or she is expected to select the position for which they wish to apply and then press ‘Fill Application’ against that position until the applicant logs in; he or she wishes to apply. If the candidate has previously signed in and started the application process, the position(s) for which he or she has applied will appear at the top of the list. To continue, he or she must click the ‘View’ link. Candidates must fill out the online application form with their contact information and educational information. The online application form will not be submitted unless this information is provided.
  10. If the applicant believes he or she has acquired some additional academic qualifications that are relevant to the advertised position, he or she can apply under ‘Other qualification.’ Please note that SSC and HSC details must be entered in the ‘Academic Details’ category, not the ‘Other Qualification’ category.
  11. Candidates must fill out the details of the remitted application fee certificate created online, such as the UTR / transaction number, the candidate’s bank account number, the UTR / transaction date, and so on.

CSIR-NCL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Technical Officer and Technical Assistant

  • The applicants nominated by the Screening Committee will be invited to take a trade test. Those who pass the written competitive exam will be invited to the trade test. The applicants’ performance in the competitive written exam will be used to compile the final merit list.
  • To assess the applicants’ suitability for the position, the Selection Committee will conduct a duly constituted selection committee trade examination and a written competitive exam.

Senior Technical officer

  1. Applicants recommended by the Screening Committee who are properly constituted would be invited to a private interview.
  2. The Evaluation Committee will interview a well-prepared applicant to determine their suitability for the position.
