CGPSC Application Form 2022 (Out): The CGPSC has begun accepting online applications for the positions of Assistant Research Officer and Others. The deadline for applications is March 31, 2022. A total of 06 positions will be filled through the recruitment process.

The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has issued a notification for 49 openings in the Chhattisgarh Government’s Principal or Placement Officer position. A total of 171 vacancies have been announced for CGPSC 2022. By visiting the official website, you can fill out the online application form. On February 13, 2022, the CGPSC prelims test was held. The position is only open to individuals with an engineering background.

The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission administers the state’s most competitive civil service exams. The exams are held to choose applicants for state positions.

Candidates interested in applying for any of the positions must visit the CGPSC website and complete the three stages of the examination: prelims, mains, and an interview. How to Apply for CGPSC 2022?

Here is a step-by-step instruction on how to apply for any of the examinations conducted by the CGPSC.

Important Points to Note before Registration

  • Before you start the registration procedure, scan your photo and signature. Ascertain that the file size and format meet the specified requirements.
  • To pay the application cost, have your online payment method (Credit or Debit Card) ready.
  • Keep your phone charged and ready because the login information will be provided to you through SMS.

Step 1: Opening

  • Visit the CGPSC’s official website (http://www.psc.cg.gov.in).
  • Click “Online Application” in the “Latest” column.
  • Scroll through the list of exams and select the one for which you want to apply.
  • Then go to the second link, “Click here to Register and Apply Online For…”
  • Then click “Move to Next Step” and “Register Now.”

Step 2: Signing Up

  • Please include all of your personal information as well as any other pertinent information.
  • Please include your valid email address as well as your phone number.
  • Then press the Submit button.
  • The application number and valid log in ID information will be sent to the phone number provided during registration.
  • The application number should be written down because it will be used in all future correspondence.

Step 3: Registration and Uploading Documents

  • Use the application number, username, and password that were sent to your phone number to log in.
  • Fill in all of the educational requirements for the vacancy or position.
  • Upload a passport-size photograph in JPG format with a maximum file size of 100KB.
  • Upload your signature as well, which should be in JPG format and no larger than 100KB.
  • Preview and Submit” should be selected.
  • Candidates will now have access to the Preview Application page. Read everything carefully and double-check that all of the information is right.
  • Click the Pay Now button.

CGPSC Eligibility for Prelims Application 2022

Following are the eligibility conditions for the CGPSC SSE 2022 Exam.

  • A candidate must have a graduate degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university.
  • The candidates must be at least 21 years old and no more than 30 years old. Permanent residents of Chhattisgarh will be granted a 5-year age limit waiver.

CGPSC Eligibility for Mains Application 2022

Candidates who passed the Prelims Exam are eligible to sit for the Mains Exam. Below is a list of candidates that passed the preliminary exams. Around one month after the exam, the CGPSC Prelims results will be released.


CGPSC SSE Application Form for Mains 2022

Only those students who pass the prelims exam will be able to fill out the CGPSC mains application form 2022. To be eligible for the CGPSC Mains exam, all applicants must achieve the cutoff marks in the CGPSC Prelims exam.

  • Make a copy of the online application form for future reference.
  • If the form is not filled out according to the instructions, it may be rejected.
    • The page can contain any symbol or special character.
    • The photo was not posted according to the guidelines.
    • The signature is not uploaded according to the guidelines.
  • The form may be rejected if the face in the photograph or signature is incorrect.
  • Even if the candidate is found to be ineligible owing to a discrepancy, the application fee is not refunded. As a result, before applying, double-check your eligibility.
  • Every time the portal is utilised to make changes to the application form, INR 15 will be charged.
  • Please make note of the application number as it will be needed for future correspondence.

CGPSC 2022: FAQs

Q1. Can I apply for the Mains exam if I have not qualified for the Prelims?

Ans. No. Only those who have passed the Preliminary examinations are eligible to take the Main examination. It’s also worth noting that registering for the Prelims does not guarantee you a spot in the Mains. Before the Main exam, you must repeat the procedure.

Q2. What happens after the Mains exam?

Ans. If you pass the Mains exam, you will be invited to a 150-mark personality test, sometimes known as an interview. The candidate’s mental alertness, clear and logical explanation, critical capacities of assimilation, depth of interest, and judgement balance are all evaluated during the test. Candidates’ merit lists will be published based on their overall scores in the Mains exam and the personality test.

Q3. I have just qualified for 12th grade. Can I apply for the examination?

Ans. No, all applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or an undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised state or central university.

Q4. Are there any mock tests to prepare for the exam?

Ans. On its official website, the GPSC offers one practice test, which should be taken before the examination. The exam is three hours long and worth 300 points. Visit the official website to take this test. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Online Test.’

Q5. Is the State service examination 2019 prelims already over?

Ans. Yes, the CGPSC State Service Prelims Exam was held in 16 districts on February 9, 2020. A total of 3617 candidates have been selected for the CGPSC State Service Mains Exam 2020, according to the CGPSC Result.
