Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET) is a state-level examination conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board in Raipur. To become a teacher in a government or private school in Chhattisgarh, a candidate must pass the CGTET examination. The exam is held once a year, and candidates can choose to pursue teacher training in primary classes (I-V) or upper primary classes (VI-VIII) in government or private schools in Chhattisgarh.

Note: Candidates interested in teaching mathematics and science must take the mathematics and science section along with child development and both languages, while candidates interested in teaching social studies or any other subject must take the social studies & other subject section along with the other compulsory sections.

A: As per the latest update by the Education Minister, all TET results, including CGTET, will have lifetime validity.
A: No, there is no process of rechecking or revaluation for CGTET exam results because the OMR sheets are checked by the machine, making rechecking not possible.
A: Yes, candidates can apply for both papers (Paper-I and Paper-II) of CGTET using a single application form. However, they have to submit separate fees for each paper.
A: For the general category, the passing marks in CGTET will be 60%, and for reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST), the passing marks will be 40%.
