In order to find qualified candidates for the 107 open positions, they are now accepting applications. Chemical engineering, civil engineering, electronics and information technology, food and agriculture, electrotechnical, medical equipment and hospital planning, coal and related products, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, production and general engineering, petroleum, textiles, transport engineering, etc. are among the fields for which there are open positions under this recruitment.

Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) recruitment 2024 is a nationwide exam so candidates from any part of the country can apply for this recruitment. BIS recruitment 2024 will be organized by the officials of BIS itself, headquartered in New Delhi. This exam is being conducted to offer various jobs of Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C posts to the eligible candidates in the Bureau of Indian Standards. BIS Recruitment 2024 Application Process

Candidates will have to fill the form in online mode only. They can follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out their form.

  1. Go through the official website i.e. bis.gov.in
  2. Click on the “Register” option appearing on the home page.
  3. Fill in the asked details like Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Contact No. and Email-id, etc.
  4. After entering all the details, preview them at once and then submit the form.
  5. After the complete submission of the registration form, candidates will get automated generated credential details on their registered mail id.
  6. Now note this credential for future references.
  7. By using the credentials, candidates have to log in first.
  8. Now after login, fill in the required details correctly in the application form.
  9. Now they have to upload a recent and clear passport size photograph, handwritten signature, and mandatory documents as per the requirement.
  10. After uploading all the supporting documents in the prescribed format, candidates have to pay the required application fee.
  11. After paying the application fee they have to submit the application form.

Documents to be Uploaded

  • The resolution and size of the signature should be 140 x 60 pixels of 10- 20 KB respectively.
  • The resolution and size of the signature should be 200 x 230 pixels of 20-50 KB respectively.
  • Candidates who are applying for Stenographer and Junior Secretariat Assistant posts, have to upload Computer Proficiency proof.
  • Educational mark sheets, Experience certificates, Caste certificates, etc. as per the requirement of the posts need to be uploaded.
  • A document as proof of Computer Proficiency up to Level- 6 of the National Skill Qualification Framework needs to be uploaded for the posts of Assistant Section Officer and Personal Assistant.

BIS Recruitment 2024 Admit Card

Only those candidates will get the admit card who have successfully filled the application form of BIS recruitment 2024. The admit card will not be posted offline to the candidates. BIS Recruitment 2024 Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates will consist of two phases:

  1. Online Exam (CBT, applicable for all)
  2. Interview/ Practical Skill Test/ Shorthand Test/ Typing Speed test/ Skill test in Computer Proficiency (Based on the preference of the post)

Note:

  • All the candidates must have to score 50% or more in aggregate to qualify for the Computer Based Test.
  • Candidates who have qualified the Stage 1 will be called for the next procedure of recruitment for Stage 2.
